19.01.2022 Good Evening Junior Badminton Players,As you have probably all heard sporting events around Australia have being cancelled or postponed due to the outbreak. This effects badminton also. We have just being informed by Badminton Victoria that we have received information regarding domestic competition in our State. This will effect junior badminton including Tuesday Night Training sessions and Friday night Competition nights. As a result of this information we have being advise...d to cancel badminton nights. The following date will still go ahead; Friday the 20th of March where information will be provided about the future of the season. We will keep everyone informed about the updates throughout the year and we don't know exactly of a possible date we will return. Thanks to everyone who participated this year and just a reminder that we still have two more weeks before the summer break. They are: Friday-11 December 7-8pm Friday-18 December 7-8pm... Make sure to put the registration day in for next year which will be held on Sunday January 30th Next year. Can't wait to see you all there

16.01.2022 Good evening players and parents, We are returning to play on Friday the 6th of November. Our return to play is outlined and is as follows: There will a limit of 20 people per space Only Under 18 players will be able to play on court. 1 parent/Guardian will be only allowed per child. New starting time 7:00pm till 8:00pm.... Sanitize, sign in and social distance applies. Masks must be worn at all times unless playing on court. No parent will be able to play at all at any time as per the DHHS website. At this stage, this will only be a social hit as we can not facilitate all competitors in the competition. For those aged above 18, we will let everyone know when we can facilitate a return to badminton. Tuesday Night training at this stage won't go ahead but we may be able to soon. 16.01.2022 Good Evening everyone, as most of you will be aware, the Victorian Government has being lifting restrictions across all platforms of socializing. At this stage of Covid-19 the lifting of restrictions, we cannot start playing. Due to the fact that we are run as one Bendigo Eaglehawk Badminton Association we have to go under guidelines done by the Association. They get this information from the Victorian Government and Badminton Victoria. At this stage no play will begin by the end of term 2. We are hoping that we can start playing sometime during term 3, under specific guidelines. Further information will be supplied once we get informed. 11.01.2022 Good Afternoon Players and supporters, As many of you know, the covid restrictions have been lifted in regional Victoria which means we can return to play. At this stage, we will only have 4 weeks of pennant left. In saying that, we would like some feedback regarding if you would like to play a competition for 4 weeks or like to come and have a hit on a Friday night. All responses are welcome but your feedback will be vital to making a decision for the rest of the 2020 season. 06.01.2022 Great news from Sunday announcement with Juniors over the age of 18 allowed to return to play. Please note players that: New Time slot: 7-8pm. Bring your own racquet Social Distance Masks to be worn inside the centre but no need when playing... Card payments or cash are accepted. Also please note: If you want to play on a Tuesday night , Thursday night or Satuday afternoon, You must register through revolutionise and become a social member. Its a $10 registration fee and you must register before arrival. Friday nights there is no need but watch this space.
