25.01.2022 Although there was no season this year, there was still one award that needed to be presented... Every year the John Hutchison 'Best Clubman' Award is presented to someone who has gone above and beyond to help our club. It will be no surprise that our Club Coach Kerrin Smith is this year's winner. This is in recognition of the time and effort Kerrin put in to... keeping training going whilst abiding by all the regulations during COVID-19 restrictions earlier this year. Well done Kerrin and thank you for all of your hard work!

24.01.2022 Statement from Bendigo East Baseball Club Executive Good afternoon all, At 12:30pm today, Baseball Victoria issued a statement regarding Covid-19. ... The statement outlined that all club activity across Victoria will cease for 21 days. This includes all training, club activities and team meetings, as well as events. For our club, this means that training (both junior and senior) will be cancelled until further notice, effective immediately. In addition to this, our club Trivia Night will also be postponed to later in the year. The statement can be read in full here: http://baseballvictoria.com.au//baseball-victoria-covid-19 We understand that this is extremely disappointing news, though given the nature of our sports where equipment is frequently shared we can understand that we to have a role to play in minimising the spread of germs. We appreciate your support and understanding during this time and will keep you informed as information becomes available. Regards, Trent, Leona and Gay
