22.01.2022 Tamara Cottingham from ICU won the Nursing Excellence Award for December 2020. Tamara championed the pre-go live ePR familiarisation training in ICU by planning and delivering education to all ICU nursing staff. She led other staff through sharing of resources, role modelling expert ePR knowledge early in training and set a strong example of what was expected from our ICU leaders. She is always communicative with ICU leadership and staff on the floor and shows both clinical... expertise in ICU as well as strong management qualities. Tamara takes on the hard tasks, not just the glorified ones and her efforts to improving staff knowledge and supporting the ePR implementation is to be commended. She has always had a positive attitude about the ePR and shared this with her colleagues. Congratulations Tamara.
