22.01.2022 What an effort!! Keep it coming if you can folks. Thank you.

19.01.2022 How is everyone holding up? Have you all learnt a new language and how to play the Ukulele? You will be tested at the end of this isolation...

18.01.2022 Staff photo number 12 - pretty sure this one will go viral as Rebecca is also known around here as "Superwoman". Bec is our Gardening and Maintenance Team Leader, boss of the boys, and is a qualified horticulturist, cabinet maker, mother of 3 boys, owner of a new house currently under construction and incredibly well respected and loved by the residents in the Village. This one's a keeper.

18.01.2022 This is the best calendar we can give you at the moment... hopefully soon we'll be line dancing, learning Italian, playing Bridge and Bowls and creating some wonderful pieces of art together. Be safe out there!

17.01.2022 Thanks to Neil from Bendigo Retirement Village for sharing this one. Love the chihuahua numbers lol. Neil and the residents and other Bendigo locals are continu...ing to collect Pet Food Donations for our pet food drive. If you can spare any non perishable dog and cat food please see Neil at https://bendigorv.com.au/ Every packet of dry food, cans, treats all helps those Bendigo pet owners who are doing it tough at the moment, and all donations are distributed by the amazing team and volunteers at Bendigo Foodshare. 17.01.2022 Thank you David and Rose. We really appreciated you coming out and making our morning truly wonderful. Comments from residents have been very emotional. Cheers. https://www.bendigoadvertiser.com.au//the-bendigo-musici/

17.01.2022 I love our little Studio Apartments. Unit 105 now available at only $130K. Brand new throughout and perfect for those who need somewhere to hang their hat. Full access to our very comfy Community Centre 24 hours a day and all the other benefits of Village life built in.

16.01.2022 Never seen so many people to be happy to line up for their flu vaccinations, however I think it was more the outing that everyone needed rather than the needle. Happy Vax day folks. Thank you for maintaining the social distancing, we know it’s not easy. It was good to see everyone though.

15.01.2022 All shiny and new. Now how do we convince Bec and the Boys to keep it clean? Best get it signwritten to match our bus...

14.01.2022 Ready when you are folks. Collecting pet food donations for those who can no longer afford it. Pets are a lifeline, so any little donation of non-perishable items is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

13.01.2022 Anzac Day done differently in the Village this year. We have the wonderful wandering flugelhorn player, David Foulds and his lovely daughter Rose, playing the Last Post and singing the National Anthem starting at 6am and moving around the Village to involve as many residents as possible. You are very welcome to come outside, watch, listen, pay your respects to our Veterans and observe a minutes silence to reflect on our past and future.

12.01.2022 I love this... Given to us by a resident who might be spending way too much time inside..? Things I've noticed in ISO. ISO is a new word. I'm lucky to be out of bed by 10am and I don't care. I've made a 'nest' on my couch, with all the essentials at hand. The' nest ' will remain. I'm so lucky to have a phone and good friends to laugh with. Laughing is essential. "Bold and Beautiful' (TV show for those of you who pretend not to know) is showing 'Best of'. So lots of laughs ...there! I've done a tiny bit more online shopping (mmm). One of the Oz post deliverers is growing a lovely red beard. Doing an online grocery order takes as long as a personal shop and longer if your password is not accepted. We live in the best Retirement Village, city, state and country in the world. (Who would want to be in charge?) Neil and staff are doing a great job on our behalf. Thank you Neil and Co. from all of us. A little bit of excitement in my life recently when I noticed my coffee keep mugs (one green, the other orange which BRV Santa gave us 2 years ago) are colour coordinated with my couch/nest cushions. Yes, 'small things amuse small minds' and yes, I need to get out more. Soon. See more

10.01.2022 I've been practicing lock-down for years.... if only I had thumbs!!!

09.01.2022 Love this unit and now ready for you to move in to. 2 bedroom, fully renovated from top to bottom, and priced at only $265,000 - we're ready when you are. Call Penny to arrange an inspection on 1800 013 451

07.01.2022 Tomorrow being the 10th, and Dani's birthday, I would like everyone to take that photo and share it with us... what brings you joy right now?

06.01.2022 August already! Hope you are all safe and well. I think Friday 14th might have to be "Funny Mask Day" - we certainly need to make others smile right now - go for it. Best mask, or photo of mask wins a Chupa Chup!

02.01.2022 Pet Food donations are continuing to be dropped off to Neil & the gorgeous residents at Bendigo Retirement Village Spring Gully https://bendigorv.com.au/ and we... have taken a 2nd load of donations to https://bendigofoodshare.org.au/ . We can't do this without you. As many Bendigo locals struggle financially in the next few months, please help us by asking your friends/family/work colleagues to donate non perishable pet foods. Then we can continue to help people keep their pets fed, and not have to face the awful choice of surrendering them. See our pinned post at the top of the page for donation drop off points. We are able to collect donations from people's homes if you are still isolating. Thank-you for your ongoing generosity, from Sharon & the whole Petcarers team See more
