22.01.2022 The special people in my world know who they are, but I just want to acknowledge this bloke, Scotty Owen, who together with The JBR McGiver team of Gary, Geoff,... Jake and Radio Phil worked long into the night to piece back together our Paynter Dixon A9X Torana. She may not look quite so beautiful but she will at least be on the start line. 14.01.2022 Finally!!! I had a chance to get back in the drivers seat of the mighty little Paynter-Dixon / Payce Torana at Winton. 8 months is the longest I have been out o...f a race car since I was a kid, so it's taken its toll but huge credit to Bendigo Retro Muscle Cars and Synergy Race Engines who look after the car and engine and do a superb job. This coming 2021 season I hope to achieve my 100th Touring Car Masters win and that does not happen without the very best people around me. I'm so indebted to all of them over so many years. The Paynter-Dixon / Payce A9X ran faultlessly and we actually found a couple of tweaks that I think will help us over the coming season. Fingers crossed. Next season is our first with ARG. They care about TCM and understand that people love our old muscle cars. They also have a free-to-air deal with Network 7 for their race meetings, which include S5000, TCR World Touring Cars, Trans Am 2 Silhouettes and possibly some local categories. Please support what is a new beginning for motorsport categories in Australia apart from the Supercars, which is strong enough and popular enough to stand on its own. Stay safe everyone!! 10.01.2022 Nearly 100 not out, but still stuck on 99! 99 Touring Car Masters wins that is. I had to concede to young Adam Garwood today, another Tassie boy and very talent...ed! He is great to race against and has a great future I reckon. I'm trying to talk his dad Greg into an S5000 car. I enjoyed our battle, with more to come tomorrow!
