21.01.2022 Hi all! A quick update to let you know that although the COVID-19 restrictions have eased overnight, the pavilion and rowing club still remain closed until further notice from the City of Greater Bendigo. I know youre all keen to get back on the water but please be patient. I joined a Rowing Victoria meeting last night to discuss their recommendations for getting rowers back on the water safely. I will send out an update as soon as I have more info. Sally Morgan - Captain.

21.01.2022 Well, it was a disappointing finish to the State Champs with it being called off after Livs final due to the wind. Pip, Amy, Amber, Chelsea and Madi you all worked so hard towards this day, Im so sorry you didnt even get to race.

20.01.2022 Good luck to our juniors in Geelong at the SSV Regatta today!!!!!

20.01.2022 Dear rowing community, As a result of the current social distancing measures in Melbourne, it is with great disappointment that we advise you we will not be run...ning the annual Saltwater Challenge on the first Saturday in September this year. This decision has been a difficult one as we believe that the physical and mental health benefits of getting back in the boat are so important right now, however, (and we are sure you will all agree) the safety of this community is paramount. We would like to assure you that our regatta committee is working closely with Rowing Victoria to explore all of our options including the possibility of a virtual quad regatta (at a later date) if restrictions are eased enough. We would love to be involved this season if we can and we will let you know if we find a way to make this possible. Stay safe! Saltwater challenge committee on behalf of the Essendon Rowing Club
