14.01.2022 Mick is the head of the Porepunkah CFA, volunteering his time over many many years. Micks father volunteered for more than 70 years (starting in 1945) with the CFA also. As a result of this, 3 generations of Dalboaco's have now volunteered countless hours to the CFA. They are just one of thousands and thousands of volunteers who have given so much to subdue the recent bushfires across our country, and have been the back bone of Australia during the bushfire season and will c...ontinues to do so. We are so grateful for them all. The team at the BSMB decided very early on that we wanted to help raise funds for a cause in a smaller community, one with a personal connection. We have currently raised $1,875.00 from a combination of sales, staff tips and donations. We are trying to get to the magical number of $2000 before forwarding at the end of the week. If you would like to help us please pop in before Friday. Australians in general have been incredibly generous during this treacherous period, and gave donation all all over the place country - but if you feel like you are able to donate a little more towards the CFA in Porepunkah to help us reach our goal, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much to our wonderful community and customers for all of your generosity
