24.01.2022 / / EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON / / Before we announce the highly anticipated cast of We Will Rock You, we would like to recognise the enormous contribution made by outgoing Production Manager, Ken Wells. Ken was responsible for getting the show off the ground last year, before it had to be put on a COVID hiatus. Unfortunately, due to a number of factors, Ken is unable to continue this role into 2021. Everyone at Bendigo Theatre Company knows what an incredible theatric...al mind Ken has; we would like to thank Ken and we all miss his presence greatly. Additionally, there are a number of cast members who, for a myriad of reasons, are unable to reclaim their roles in 2021. We would like to congratulate and give our best wishes to the successful cast of 2020 who unfortunately we will not see on stage in We Will Rock You: Robert Holian (Galileo) and Louise Manning, Inika Reinhardt, Travis Rowden, Max Harris, Ryan Peterson, Kristen Gleeson, Emily Holmes, Laura Freeman, Samuel Kelly, Chris Pedler, Keoni MacRae, Morgan McDermott, Darelle Basset and Seamus Allan. We hope to see you all on stage soon! Our thanks also extend to the following people who were to be department coordinators but were also unable to assist this year: Liz Young (Costumes) & Ralph Shipard (Properties). Our Lighting 101 workshop will be hosted by Ian Scott, where he will touch on the technical theory of lighting and participants will have a chance to put that theory into practice. ... Ian is a local lighting designer, technician, and operator in Bendigo, and has been designing and operating the lighting for BTC shows for over ten years.
