13.01.2022 ScoMo is looking at sending in the military to break a strike on the wharves. This is an outrageous suggestion and should be met with broad condemnation. What do we reckon, folks?

13.01.2022 Union win in Bendigo! Check out that list of achievements by the comrades who stood proud and staunch, and took the risk to get the reward. Congratulations to members, delegates and organisers of the UWU, ETU and AMWU for their outstanding work, as well as the community members who got behind them.

12.01.2022 For my new trackies. For the kids' craft supplies. For the letters from grandma and pop. Our posties are out doing a heroic job for Victorians. Our reliance on... mail has never been greater, while at the same time hard working posties face attacks from their employers at Australia Post, trying to make cuts to the network! As workers we extend our solidarity and gratitude to the members of the mighty Communication Workers Union. Join them in sending Federal politicians a message to keep Australia Post running strong! https://postalpandemic.com.au/ Communication Workers Union National Office

11.01.2022 At a Meeting held on Bakery Hill in the presence of about ten thousand diggers and residents on Saturday November 11th, 1854 at 2pm the following were adopted a...s the principles and objects of the Ballaarat Reform League That it is the inalienable right of every citizen to have a voice in making the laws they are called upon to obey that taxation without representation is tyranny. At 2pm today, 11th November 2020 BRTLC met to mark the occasion - Covid means that we cannot have our usual service at St Pauls but here is the reading of the Charter and this years speech by our President and Secretary. 03.01.2022 Pop these up in your workplace if you’re not working from home!

01.01.2022 Wage theft is not ok.

01.01.2022 ‘Work for the dole’ makes some sense on the surface if you believe that people on the dole are avoiding work. But, if you look at the data, there are thousands of people applying for a single warehouse job. That’s not work avoidance. It is an unemployment crisis. The government’s proposal to force unemployed people to work for pay that is below the poverty line is outrageous and serves only the employing class. There is no gain to the community or the workers from a plan such as this.
