25.01.2022 The BVA are calling for entries in our Primary School Spikezone Competition. This primary aged competition runs on a Sunday night in Terms 2 and 3, between 5 and 6.30pm. Students can register individually for a team or enter as a group of 6 friends. Please contact competition director Siobhan Thompson for further details or an entry form. Also please remember these few important steps... - Check in on arrival to the stadium with the QR code’s in the foyer - Masks are to be worn at all times while indoors unless you are actively playing your game. This includes spectators, scoring, entering / exiting the venue - continue the focus on high touch point sanitising before, during and after games. 05.01.2022 Beach State Team Coach - Expressions of Interest 2021 AJBVC Hello Coaches, Volleyball Victoria is now seeking interested coaches to consider Program Coach, Head Coach and Assistant Coach roles within the 2021 Junior Beach State Team program.... The Victorian Beach State Teams will be traveling to the 2021 AJBVC held in Coolangatta, QLD between 25-29th April. The Beach State Team Trials will likely run over two weekends in January (TBC) pending COVID restrictions, with training to follow on most, but not all weekends between Jan/Feb-April. Beach State Teams typically train on Saturday mornings/afternoons at South Melbourne Beach or State Volleyball Centre, Dandenong. If you are interested in applying for any of these positions, please complete the registration form (link below) by 9am Wednesday 25th November, 2020. All Beach State Team Coaches must hold a minimum Level 2 Coaching Accreditation prior to the AJBVC. To register your interest in becoming a 2021 Beach State Team Coach, please complete this form by 9am Wednesday 25th November, 2020. Please note Athlete registrations are not available just yet. 05.01.2022 To all BVA Members, As you are all aware our BVA AGM was held last Monday the 16th of November. Unfortunately as per our Constitution and By Laws we did not have enough paid members present on the night to reach a quorum. Hence we are holding a Special General Meeting on the 14th of December with the specific obligation to fill the roles of President, Vice President, Secretary and three general members. We apologise for the confusion and encourage all members to attend the Special General Meeting, the notice of which is below:
