19.01.2022 Join us for a two-hour guided walk through Bendigo's historic centre surrounded by unique boom-style architecture. We describe how gold and mass migration transformed a sleepy sheep run and the land of the Dja Dja Wurrung into the world's richest city of the 1880s. We recall the Bendigo people, events and fabulous wealth that built 'Marvellous Melbourne' and shaped a new nation and we ponder Bendigo's leading role in campaigns for democracy, votes for women, unionism, Feder...ation. From radicals to royalty, larrikins to leaders, enjoy the quirky, remarkable, often forgotten stories of Bendigo. Visiting, new to Bendigo or a long-time local - enjoy an upbeat, informal guided walk in this remarkable city. Book via our website or bendigotourism.com

18.01.2022 WALKING TOURS PAUSE ‘TIL FURTHER NOTICE Sadly, we’ve decided it’s best for all concerned to pause our walking tours for the time being.... We love sharing the remarkable story of our great city but it seems the only option for now. Our walking tours are about human connection our hallmark is for intimate, small group experiences it’s all about people past and present. We can ‘t do what we do, create a connection, and keep our distance from everyone. We also need to support the huge effort taking place to prevent the spread of the virus. Meanwhile, we’re working on two new tours, new experiences to make your visit to Bendigo even more memorable when we resume. Please remember us in your travel plans later this year.
