25.01.2022 Our crop of passionfruit this year has been prolific. Not only have we been enjoying the pulp in cheesecakes, fruit salad and cocktails but the vibes have provided welcome shade over our pergola and outdoor dining area. And of course there is also the joy of the passionfruit flowers ( like the one pictured here) which lift my spirits daily during these Covid times.

23.01.2022 With such a warm winter and plenty of rain the Chocolate Pudding Fruit are ripening early this year.

19.01.2022 Black Sapote Tiramisu was just the thing I felt to welcome in our current guests for New Year. With plenty of black sapotes ripening at present this luscious and decadently delicious dessert drowned in Brandy and Tia Maria is the perfect way to use up our excess fruit.

I have picked nearly 20 kgs in the last 3 days and there are still plenty fir anyone local who is interested to pick their own. Hoping to get some down to Sydney fir my dear Brazilian friends there who adore these fruits which remind them of their Brazilian childhood

11.01.2022 My little sister Skye and I were blessed to have our mother buy this farm 50 years ago when Skye and I were very young. It meant we have enjoyed half a century of living in paradise. In this photo we are aged about 8 and 10 with our little cousin Genevieve. Behind is just all grass. Nowadays it is a forest of mature exotic fruit trees. Amazing how times flies and trees grow! Perhaps there is hope for the planet yet.

09.01.2022 Jerry, Pam, Bella and I spent a lovely day exploring the area just south of the border - whilst we still can - starting the morning at Kurwillimbah Farmers Markets then onto Chillingham to Bucks Tropical Fruit Farm to collect Davidson Plums. Ours aren’t ready yet and Pete @cravve cravve needed some for his Davidson Plum Chocolate Bars. Then onto #flutterbies at Tyalgum for a delicious lunch. @ Eungella, New South Wales, Australia

06.01.2022 Anyone hazard a guess at what fruit this is? As I was fertilising the citrus, a pungent sweet aroma distracted me. Following my nose I discovered 5 ripe jackfruit begging to be picked. They are delicious fresh, in ice cream or, now my most favourite way of eating them, dehydrated, as their flavour is intensified many times over and their texture chewy and delicious. @ Tallebudgera, Queensland, Australia
