16.01.2022 This is what I know so far about Bendalong. Yesterday afternoon they were defending the fire at the caravan park and it looks like from this map that the town survived. Although I don’t know of any damage, and it certainly doesn’t look good for the people who had houses on the main road Much love to those (whoever you are) that stayed and defended our beautiful bendalong we are so grateful

15.01.2022 I never thought I’d say ‘thank goodness the tenants have left’ but today I’m so grateful that they have been able to return their home albeit they are preparing their own place for alert. I’m so grateful that I had amazing people looking after our Bendy beach house like it was their own during such a stressful time for them. With the imminent weather conditions I hope to have a house to offer future tenants to enjoy what we love about our beautiful Bendalong. ... 04.01.2022 Good afternoon Friends of Bendy Beach House! It is with great sadness that I have to encourage you to stay at home and not visit the Bendy Beach House for a while. Whilst we all maintain our social distancing and stay at home to stop the spread of this virus, I would like to ask for some help.... As you know 2020 has not been my favourite year in being able to share with you my beloved Bendy Beach House. So far we have managed to get through the disastrous fire season, and now with this pandemic, it is certainly challenging our resilience. 02.01.2022 It’s been a while and after a very windy night it’s an absolute blissful morning at the beach happy reconciliation day Canberra.

02.01.2022 This is the view from our front and back fence. . As you can see it’s across the road. Bendalong is so lucky to have been saved by the locals, RFS and others, the fire literally surrounded every part of Bendalong and North Bendalong. In some parts all the way to the beach and even the seaweed on the beach. So, so lucky and so grateful.
