24.01.2022 A difficult weekend at the Carnival of Karts, racing was condensed to 3 short races due to the weather on Saturday. We didn't get the set up quite right for the... wet qualifying and ended up 5th for race 1, started out of P5 but got caught up in a racing incident in turn 1 which put craig down to the back of the 22 kart field he picked off 10 karts in the 8 laps and ended up in 12th. He started 12th for the pre-final but made a wrong call on tyres in the changeable conditions and had to call him in to save tyres in case of a wet final. This put Craig out of 16th in the final and he had a stellar drive up to 5th but a technical issue ended up in a DNF. Once again can't thank Adam Levi and the guys at FMA Motorsport enough for all of their help and the great Benik chassis. Also big thankyou to Kip Foster's Kartforce for the great engine. A lot of lessons learned this weekend and we should now bounce back stronger for the final round of the Western Cup at Wundowie and get a chance to show the pace of the FMA Benik kart and Kartforce package.
