They just bought $1.5 billion of bitcoin, and are planning on accepting bitcoin as payment for their cars. Basically, Facebook agreed to allow news outlets back on the platform on the condition that the government amended the code before it was passed into law. Their strategy is to use this to allow them to improve consistency of service across their stores. Also interesting to note, they are planning on moving their call-centers back to Aussie soil. They've been steadily growing for 12 years now, and have reached the milestone of 100 million searches per day. Still a way to go to meet Google's 5 billion per day, but it is good to see that a privacy-based company is gaining popularity with the general public
