25.01.2022 I've had a interesting few days. Each year I try to do something to improve my skills, this year my shampoo supplier arranged a Master Groomers Conference in the city. I attended the conference and met other groomers from all over Australia and we learnt so much from two very talented women. Jodi Murphy and Barb Bird, both from the US are renowned for their knowledge of the grooming industry. Barb has a passion for all things shampoo and how they work on animal skin, so I've ...learnt heaps with regard to skin conditions and how to protect and assist in repairing coats. Jodi was a very successful mobile groomer and internationally certified Master Groomer, winning many awards over the years. I have followed her throughout my short career and am continually learning from her. So I'm back to work tomorrow with new fresh ideas, a new insight into my business and hopefully can make your doggies that little bit extra special.

22.01.2022 I hope everyone has had a lovely new year and enjoyed the sun while you could before this rain set in. I start back to work on Monday 18th January so will be in touch with everyone over the next couple of weeks to let you know when your first booking for 2016 is. I have just packed away all the beautiful gifts I received from all my generous clients. Mind you, a lot of chocolates have been eaten and wine been shared over the break so not much to pack away there. It humbles m...e when I'm given so many gifts, it is my privilege to be able to come and play with your doggies and make them smell and look lovely so I feel very loved and appreciated by you all. Thank you so much. I feel 2016 is going to be a big year full of fun, lots of new challenges and very hairy so until I catch up with you all, take care in this rain and please shoo it away so it's brilliant sunshine when it's time for me to come back to work.

22.01.2022 I had the privilege of saying goodbye to a grand old lady today, a beautiful German Shepard who has just turned 13. Even though she doesn't belong to me, she hasn't grown up with me and I only see her every few monthis she takes a bit of my heart with her to her final resting place. A few tears will be shed for you darling xx

21.01.2022 No wonder I'm a bit weary today. 57 dogs are squeaky clean this week, that equates to around 1000 nails trimmed, 114 ears cleaned, 67 towels and around 30 hand towels washed and folded and about 8 litres of shampoo. The life of a dog groomer.........

19.01.2022 Well, I'm finally getting used to my new trailer. Air con is being fixed tomorrow just in time for summer so all my furry friends can be comfortable on those hot days and the signage will hopefully be on soon so everyone will know who I am. This week has been the calm before the Christmas storm, so I am looking forward to long days getting everyone clean and tidied ready for their visit from Santa, then I will be having three weeks off to recover and be ready for a brilliant ...2016. At this time of the year I reflect on what has happened during the year. I'm very lucky to have met some wonderful new friends this year and start some exciting new projects outside of my business, which includes volunteering for Caring for Wollondilly and becoming involved with the Wollondilly Women in Business network. But on the downside it also breaks my heart that I have lost some dear furry clients this year, some to illness, some to old age even today I had a sad message from Mac's mum letting me know his bone cancer had spread to his lungs so they are now just giving him lots of love until it's time for him to leave them. I fall in love with them all so it's very hard when it's time to let go. I have also have had the pleasure of playing with some beautiful new puppies this year and am looking forward to seeing them grow into wonderful companions for their families. Take care everyone and no doubt I'll catch up with many of you over the next few weeks.

17.01.2022 I love visiting this cutie

16.01.2022 Just like to update you all on our Melbourne Cup function for Caring for Wollondilly. We had over 50 people attend, there's was lots of happy noise in the room. Heaps of fun and well over $4000 was raised, so suffice to say we were ecstatic and so humbled by the generosity of our community. With these funds we are able to provide a new walker for a 6 year old Bargo girl who has outgrown her current one and needs to move onto the next stage of her development. Fantastic day and a huge thank you to all those who helped make our day perfect.

15.01.2022 Rain, rain go away. I really need to get back to work, lots of doggies are waiting for me. To my wonderful customers please be patient with me while I catch up after the rain. I also have three muddy puppies myself (anyone know a good dog groomer?) who didnt care how wet they got so I know exactly what you are going through so I will endeavour to get to everyone as soon as possible.

14.01.2022 Who's booked their Melbourne Cup function? For all of you who don't know, I'm involved in a great community fundraising group, Caring for Wollondilly and we are holding a function at Picton Hotel from 11.30am. $50 per ticket with funds raised staying within the community for those in need. Fun, food and fashion, sweeps, balloon raffles plus watching a few horses go around a track. Get all dressed up and win our Best Dressed. Hope to see some familiar faces, if you'd like a ticket just pop down to Derks at Picton or Thirlmere or message me and I can get one to you.

11.01.2022 I have no idea what happened to Foxy's ears, they seem to be missing. This crazy girl tears around her backyard once she's been washed, I just hope she stayed clean for when her Mum and Dad got home. Nearly the end of my week, there's 41 squeaky clean and well groomed dogs being loved in the Shire tonight. I hope they all have sweet dreams tonight.

09.01.2022 Today I met the sweetest little man, he made my day.

05.01.2022 Well.....what a busy start to the year, I can't believe it's March already. I thought I'd share one of my cuties from this week.

05.01.2022 Once again rain has derailed my week. My apologies to all those that I will need to reschedule. I'm waiting for my new trailer to be finished, once this comes rain won't be an issue anymore. Hope the sun shines tomorrow.
