19.01.2022 If your goal is to lose weight & you’re not sure where to start? Then read When you monitor weight loss (on scales) be sure to weigh at the same time every morning after you’ve woken up & been to the bathroom. It can also help to take an average of the week. If you find this too ‘obsessive’, take measurements once per week.... If you’re losing 0.5-1kg per week that’s right on the money. Any less, reduce portion sizes AND/OR increase activity levels If perhaps you’re losing 1.5-2kg per week, add some more food back into your diet. Happy hump day

16.01.2022 4 Simple stretches to help low back pain & stiffness. Thanks Dom # 1: Dynamic Hamstring Glide. ... Half lunge position, straighten front leg out, front foot flat on ground, chest tall, push hips back & lean forward through torso. 30 seconds each side, 2x rounds. # 2: Sciatic Nerve Stretch: Lie on back, vertical knee position, hand behind the leg, straighten leg first then flex foot. Repeat on the way down. 10x repetitions each side, 2x rounds. #3 Child Pose Stretch (Lumbar Flexion): knees wide, sit back onto bum, head onto floor, opening low back joints. Breathe. 2 Minute holds. #4: QL release: Kneeling against wall, knee closest to wall is up, hands behind the head, rotate to kiss the wall, rotate back over, press elbow on inside knee hard whilst pushing elbow on wall. 3-5 repetitions each side, 2x rounds. Tag a mate with a back of a 90 year old :)
