25.01.2022 Good luck to the Queanbeyan Tigers Women’s 1st Grade team for this weekends Grand Final. Benmax are corporate sponsors of the Tigers and we are pleased to see them doing well in 2019. The women’s team will be taking on the Belconnen Magpies at Manuka Oval this Saturday, 7 September 2019. Be sure to get to the ground and support the team. Well done to the entire Queanbeyan Tigers Australian Football Club on another great season.

24.01.2022 Each year Benmax provides financial assistance to a number of local sporting teams, community groups and charity organisations as a way of supporting our people and the communities in which we work and live. This year, after establishing a relationship with local food charity organisation OzHarvest Canberra, we have been collecting food items that will be distributed to people in need in the Canberra region. The team from OzHarvest came by to pick up our donations and were very impressed by what they saw. A very big thank you to everyone that contributed food donations to our Christmas Giving Tree. Your generosity is appreciated and will undoubtedly help bring a smile to people in our local community this Christmas

22.01.2022 Congratulations to Benmax graduate engineer Hamish Kerr on completing his most recent qualification, a Professional Diploma in Building Services (HVAC&R). Hamish started with Benmax as an intern back in 2016 while studying engineering at university. Now a full time member of Benmax, he works across a diverse range of projects in both AUS and NZ and is making a big contribution to our team. Keen to extend his knowledge, he completed the accredited course (delivered by AIRAH) to increase his exposure to the HVAC&R industry through their comprehensive and practical training for the built services environment. Well done, Hamish. Another great effort!

15.01.2022 We always love a good celebration at Benmax. So when we found out it was director Andrew’s birthday we took the opportunity to surprise him. When he isn’t here in the office he is busy working on his farm so this party theme seemed just right . Happy Birthday Andrew!

15.01.2022 Benmax loves sport and is a big supporter of many clubs, teams and individuals in our local community. In 2019, we are pleased to once again be supporting local futsal talent Tehya Aspland. Tehya plays for the Boomerangs Futsal Club and is gearing up for the new season. We wish Tehya all the best and look forward to tracking the performance of the team over the coming months.

14.01.2022 A big thank you to our awesome volunteers for supporting Oz Harvest and our local community. A range of meals were prepped, cooked and packed ready for distribution to some of the agencies and charities in the Canberra region. Hats off to Dave and the team at OzHarvest Canberra as well as to the team at CC Cares-Canberra College for their incredible work and commitment in helping our community.

10.01.2022 The benefits of using Building Information Modelling (BIM) within the construction industry are becoming clearer and can't be ignored. From improvements in programming and productivity, to site safety and fabrication strategies, the technology can add real value to a project and Benmax is pleased to be a driving force behind use of the technology in both Australia and New Zealand. Benmax project manager Sara Hinz will be presenting at the BIM in Construction event on 20 August 2019. Hosted by BIMinNZ Christchurch, Sara will deliver a case study showcasing how the construction process can benefit from 3D planning and documentation as shown in our recent projects at the UoO Dental School and Christchurch Justice & Emergency Services Precinct. 05.01.2022 Another great year gone by! A big thank you to all members of our team for all your accomplishments and achievements throughout the year. Here are some photos from our ACT Christmas party. 04.01.2022 Benmax will once again be supporting the Hartley Cycle Challenge in 2019. Andrew Chisholm (a good friend of Benmax) and his team will be participating in annual event to raise much needed funds for Hartley Lifecare so they can continue to deliver their many programs that support people living with physical and complex disabilities. Over three days in November, Andrew and his team will ride from Canberra to Mount Kosciusko (and back), a distance of around 450kms.a big effort!....we are exhausted just thinking about it! 03.01.2022 As part of our company celebrations during July, we also presented the first ever Benmax Awards. Members of our team approached senior management and proposed an awards program be developed. So here we are. The awards aim to recognise the outstanding achievements of individual people within our team with the winners determined by peer votes. Awards were presented in five categories Employee of the Year, Team Member of the Year, Rookie of the Year and the Andrew Kolber Award for Quality and Accuracy and Mick Polsen Award for Pride and Passion, named after two of our founding directors. Congratulations to all our inaugural award winners.
