23.01.2022 I joined Steve Irons MP, Canning Mayor Patrick Hall, Perth NRM CEO SERCUL representative Stephen Johnston and volunteers for a planting session at the nearly completed Nurdi Park Living Stream project in Riverton. The Morrison Government has contributed $250,000 to this project, which will improve the quality of the Canning River and the parkland at Nurdi Park. It's so important that we continue to work to manage, maintain and improve the Swan and Canning River. I've assist...ed with other projects nearby, like the Pleasant Place storm water drain pipe project in Shelley, which will do just that. Steve and I will continue to partner with local government and volunteer organisations to improve our rivers and parks. 23.01.2022 Today, Australians will unite again in a minute of silence for Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day is one of the most important days of our year as it represents a time where Australians can stand together with our service personnel and veterans and remember those who have lost their lives in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping I encourage all Australians to wear a poppy on Remembrance Day to honour our Australian service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our c...ountry. 23.01.2022 Two more COVID-19 vaccines have been secured bringing our Government’s COVID-19 vaccine investment to more than $3.2bn. Under new agreements, Novavax will supply 40m doses and Pfizer/BioNTech 10m doses, should the vaccines been proven safe & effective.
