15.01.2022 Currently in concept design stage, this fascinating prototype apartment building project seeks to address the challenges of skyrocketing construction and housing affordability by testing a suite of new and old structural timber framing technologies to deliver a sustainable, efficient, affordable and healthy residential environment. The expression of the building has evolved in response to the opportunities and constraints specific to these building systems. The fully clad facade evokes timber grain and traditional carpentry detailing and joining.

10.01.2022 As efforts concerning the containment of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) expand and evolve here and around the world, BMA want to assure you that we are focused on three things: 1) Prioritising the safety of our employees 2) Continuing to provide exceptional service 3) Supporting local efforts to limit the spread and impact of COVID-19... We do not anticipate large-scale interruption in BMAs services and are fortunate in that our business infrastructure has allowed us to transition to a remote workforce this week. All BMA staff are now working productively from home, and we are confident in our ability to continue providing great service to you and conducting business as "usual" in these very unusual times. Our staff have been advised to limit face to face meetings where possible and engage in teleconference or video conferencing meetings. At this stage we have had no known contact with, or suspected cases of COVID and will continue to monitor the situation and government and industry recommendations. 08.01.2022 Work is now underway on this apartment refurbishment project in Fairlight, starting with the demolition of most of the internal walls. Daylighting and air movement were fundamental to the resolution of the internal layout, and since the apartment is located over a carpark level, we enjoyed full flexibility with services locations. Construction is due for completion in May this year. The work is happening in parallel with remedial waterproofing works, a fire safety upgrade programme, and a common area refit to Quintella, a classic 1970s blonde brick apartment tower in Fairlight.
