20.01.2022 When the words "there's a shark in the waiting room" isn't a prank. Ben was very happy treating his first ever shark patient yesterday. I Imagine the shark was pretty happy getting freed from the offending pipe too. Such a gorgeous creature.

09.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION CHANGES DUE TO COVID 19 Hi all,... For the safety and health of all, we have now introduced new measures for all clients and patients needing to visit the hospital. Appointments will now be necessary. Click on the call now button or call us on 9588 4588 to arrange this. A staff member must grant individual entry into the building. All clients will be asked if they have a fever/flu like symptoms, close contact with a Covid 19 person, have travelled overseas in the last 14 days or are currently in isolation/quarantine. We may request that client arranges for someone else to attend the hospital instead. One person per pet unless previously organized with the clinic. Due to the current distancing guidelines, a maximum of 6 persons will be allowed in the waiting room. If the waiting room is at capacity, a staff member will take your phone number and will call you when entry is available. Please leave your mobile on. It is best to wait in your car. If you choose to wait outside the hospital the government guidelines of 1.5m distancing applies. All clients MUST follow distancing protocols set out inside the clinic. It is no longer possible to allow clients to visit patients in the hospital. The ONLY exception for this is if it's a case of euthanasia. IF YOU ARE COVID 19 POSITIVE Tele-medicine may be available. Your pet may be required to come into hospital. If this is the case we will request that a healthy family member, if possible, washes your pet in warm soapy water prior to arrival to help eliminate any possible virus on your pets coat. Please notify the clinic of this situation on arrival. Thanking you all in advance for your patience and please take care everyone. And stay safe.

07.01.2022 When you come home from work and find the cutest little Striped Marsh Frog sitting at your front door! Long story short: she decided to lay eggs in a pool of water about to dry up so we rescued the eggs and ended up with roughly 300 tadpoles. With them growing so quickly and not having a pond we decided to release them Monday in the wetlands and happened across this huge male Eastern Water Dragon soaking up the sun. Good luck little froggy friends!
