22.01.2022 I pass these horses everyday and have never really stopped to notice them. After endless scrolling through devastating stories and photos of the fires burning ferociously across our great country. Which got me way to upset I went down and hung out with these amazing creatures and was totally gutted thinking about all the millions of animals that have perished and all the people whose lives are destroyed. Other than giving donations I feel so hopeless in what I can do.. The best I can come up with at this point is by offering my time and photography skills to come and photograph a fundraising event that’s raising money for the bushfires. If anybody on the sunny coast is organising one or knows of something. Please tag them or pass on my details ..

22.01.2022 STUDIO STILL OPEN These sure are some crazy times!!!!! We are keeping the studio open for business, and working to support all small businesses in these difficult times, while shooting + working in isolation. We are lucky to work in the digital space and provide digital assets. All kinds of small business need extra support right now, so we plan to stay available (luckily we both work from home). Everyone still needs consistent online content, especially with an increase of... people being on their phones and not going out. If you are looking to shoot your products or finally get your business up online, send me a DM. We are working as a duo from home so @liquorice_moon_studios and myself can style and shoot it all for you. If you prefer not to deliver the items to me, we will happily pick up. You can also post them. If face to face contact is an issue for you, we can verbally communicate the shot list and mood boards in great detail before I shoot it, via phone. If you would normally be on set, we can arrange to have you FaceTime or Skype in order to be present. Huge thank you for your support of our small business. 19.01.2022 I knew a storm was coming, so I raced to the beach to photograph it’s beauty. I’d like to believe that I captured the first drop of rain hit the water.

19.01.2022 It was an eerie sight yesterday looking down the beach at Mooloolaba, the sand is usually packed with people enjoying the ocean this time of year. Especially with weather like we’ve been having. Instead, the shoreline was deserted like a scene from the ‘Twilight Zone’ with a few scattered people staying to themselves, and a few solo Mooloolaba beach bums doing there standard rock wall to the surf club swim.

13.01.2022 Fellow Sole traders. Times are frickin crazy and unprecedented right now. We have two small business running out of our home.. this next few weeks/months are so uncertain.. we just had a brainwave. We maybe already going crazy!!! But maybe if it gets even out of control, why don’t we all help each other with our work services or help in other ways on a BARTER type system like the good old days. (like we need help finishing bathroom Reno’s) haha.. I know we aren’t supposed to be in contact with each other but that’s just logistics. Much love to you all and go wash your hands. 04.01.2022 Swimmers going either one way, or back and forth between the rock wall and Mooloolaba surf club this morning was as busy as I’ve ever seen it. With all the public pools closed and the ocean looking like a lake. People were making the most of this crazy situation and getting out into nature. The way it should always be.
