This year's Benny The Jet Australian Seminar Tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet with 13 Seminars confirmed so far, plus the Moreton Island Training Camp. We will keep the opportunity open to host 2 more events to the end of March, then it will be closed. We have 2 Seminars booked for Adelaide, 1 for Launceston, 2 in Melbourne, 1 in Albury, 1 in Brisbane and 4 in Sydney. All details will be updated on the Tour Shedule posted at the top ...on this page. This year we are finishing the tour in Queensland with a Training Camp on Moreton Island. This training event will be a fantastic opportunity to train with Sensei Benny Urquidez on one of the most pristine environments in Australia. Available to 40 people only, this will be an extraordinary training experience with 2 sessions planned over 3 day. 16.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE Hi everyone, just wanted to communicate with all those wishing to participate in the October 2020 Benny The Jet Australian Seminar Tour. Firstly at this stage there is no intention to cancel the 2020 Seminar Tour. I've spoken to Sensei Benny and his management as recently as last week. They are still keen for it to go ahead and are leaving the decision entirely with me. Obviously we are monitoring the situation closely and will abide by the recommendations ...of the government authorities for the health and welfare of all those interested in participating. As a martial arts gym owner I'm fully aware of the concerns of all those in the martial arts community. As this Coronavirus emergency is very fluid and changes quickly we are still keeping an open mind, therefore we want to make the right call at the appropriate time. We will keep you updated as things come to hand. We have 15 seminars booked and a 3 day Moreton Island training camp, the biggest tour so far. The Seminar holders that make this possible, who bring these events to you and your area, are some of be best people I've had the pleasure to deal with in putting this tour together. I will be keeping regular communication up with them as this situation progresses. We want to wish everyone a safe few months ahead. 07.01.2022 TIME FOR A LENDING HAND Hi everyone, hope you’re dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic as well as can be expected in these trying times. Its been a difficult year for everyone. Sensei Benny Urquidez trains out of the Team Karate Center in Woodlands California. I had the pleasure of training there myself a few years ago. Team Karate Centers are owned and operated by Sensei Fariborz Azhakh. As you are aware, the US has been hit hard with Covid-19 and TKC have suffered badly. Not i...s it only the training home of Sensei Benny Urquidez, but also a drop-in training centre for many Australian martial arts who travel to the US. Your support, no matter how small would be greatly appreciated in keeping Fariborz's dream alive. I spoke to Fariborz last week, he is devastated. He is a very gracious and generous person and has helped many people over the years, and is committed to the martial art way. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
