21.01.2022 While we're all a bit short on the essentials at the moment, some are doing it tougher than others. Working on the front line for families in need is Barnardos Australia - supporting countless Australian families, providing basic goods to those who can't afford them and assistance to those who isolation hits the hardest. Right now, charities are needed more than ever before, but also need support more than they ever have. Check out Barnardos' campaign to find out how you can do your bit for the charities doing the most for the Aussie community.

Charity Bounce harnesses the power of sport and skilled mentoring by providing Indigenous youth with the support and skills they need for employment, helping bridge the gap to opportunities otherwise out of reach. Anrows produces resources and research that provide a valuable First Nations perspective on Indigenous disadvantage. You can access their database of resources below.

02.01.2022 June for Justice With the end of the financial year approaching, June is typically known as the month for giving. At this time, many who are looking to give back also look to us for guidance on where to spend their dollars and best make change before the financial year ends. In light of recent events, and Benojo's enduring commitment to reducing racial inequality, this Junerosity Benojo will be directing donors to support the incredible Indigenous-led organisations doing game changing work around Australia. We will also work to amplify the voices of those who support Indigenous welfare and share some incredible resources from these organisations that you can use to learn more about Indigenous culture, perspective and history.
02.01.2022 June for Justice The Indigenous Literacy Foundation focuses on one of the earliest points to break the cycle of disadvantage for Indigenous Australians - early childhood literacy. Working in remote communities, they provide the much-needed literacy programs and books both in English and Indigenous languages. They provide the tools for Indigenous communities to publish books in their own language and about their own culture, creating valuable resources for future generations to learn about Indigenous culture, community life and language. Explore some of these publications here: https://www.indigenousliteracyfoundation.org.au/community-l. Donate below - a $50 donation will put 5 books into the hands of Indigenous children in remote communities.
