25.01.2022 WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU EARNED YOURSELF A FIST PUMP? If you're a driven person like me, you likely spend most of your time with your eye on your goals, ticking off your daily action steps and moving ever forwards towards each one. TBH I hate new year resolution goal setting, if this is the first week you’ve looked at your goals since last New Years, you’ve got it wrong BUT, this time of year is possibly the best time to reflect on your achievements. ... Crack yourself a bottle of bubbles or a nice single malt whiskey, sit down, and reflect on everything you did this year. The win’s, the losses you came back from and the goals you achieved. Let yourself take a few hours to bask in your own awesomeness, and I'll see you tomorrow ready to win again.

19.01.2022 The most successful and the happiest people, seem to have found a way to make every part of what they do, align with their core values. The most successful strategy we’ve found of achieving this is the Stop, Ask, How, Apply method. STOP - when you have a decision to make, big or small, get off autopilot and be conscious of your thoughts. ... ASK - Which decision aligns with my core values? HOW - Define specifically which values your expressing and how APPLY - Make an informed decision based on which option best suits your core values FOR EXAMPLE STOP I’m not tracking this weekend ASK Core values include: integrity, growth and learning and persistence By not tracking i’m going against all 3 of these values so really, tracking is what’s in alignment HOW Integrity - I said I would, and I keep my word Growth and Learning - I find tracking while eating out very challenging, the only way I can get better and learn to be comfortable with it is to practice Persistence - I know the best way to succeed and anything is to persist even when it’s challenging, I need to continually execute even when I’d rather not. APPLY The clear choice now is to track over the weekend, and I know if I don’t I’ll miss the feeling of fulfilment that comes with a day living in alignment with my core values.
