(kiln dried hardwood) $5 per bag kindling (limited supply/scrap timber) We are very happy to announce, that we have found a way to continue to supply our community with our good value firewood & kindling bags, despite the current coronavirus restrictions. 20.01.2022 There is Facebook called Men Unite, you read about it's pupose below. A great intiative providing a space to talk to other Men experiencing everyday struggles and mental health issues. "A group for MEN. We are here to support and encourage and help our fellow men. If you have had a struggle in life, if you have had or are having issues with addiction, we want you to talk to us. If you have lost someone you love, if you feel alone, if you are depressed or anxious we want to ...help. If you’re in debt or feel the world is caving in on you we want help you. As men, all to often we dont talk, we dont want to drop our guard and let people know our struggles and our fears or our secrets. We shut down, we close our emotions, we become selfish and distant, we slip more on the slope that we may only have had one foot on and then it consumes us. I want us as a group to stop this cycle and to break the stigma and to make it ok to talk. To let our fellow men know we are here and that we are in this together! I'm looking for people who will share their stories and experiences and give advise with us. Most importantly talk to each other or even privately just one of us, engage with someone and share your troubles and believe me, it will help. " See more

15.01.2022 To all members and friends. The AGM and lunches and breakfast have been postponed. This is to help arrest the spread of any contagens. Fire wood will still be available to the general public. A roster system is being explored to staff the shed for the purpose of sales. Stay safe everyone.

07.01.2022 Here's how to contact the Winter Night Shelter if you come across someone who needs a place to stay. Admissions criteria: Aged 25 or over. Male and Female. Ment...al illness needs to be managed. Guests may not access the Shelter if they are intoxicated. In the interests of health and safety for all guests and volunteers, an assessment will be conducted prior to an invite to stay at the Shelter being given. 01.01.2022 Yesterday Phil and I attended the Yarra Junction Primary school pre Anzac Day memorial. Thanks from the Shed for the invite it was a great experience.
