25.01.2022 Give them time to settle in. The most perfect relationship in the world doesn’t happen immediately, it takes time and work.

24.01.2022 Cheap item to keep your doggy entertained and brain stimulated ( IKEA $5 ) And the quality time the dog spends with you during training

23.01.2022 PRIME 100 PET FOOD, NOW AS A CHEAPER PRODUCT AT COLES We only use it for treats, so the consistency was my most important concern The ingredients according to "Aunty Google" are the same... Dogs opinion Consistency Price Healthy

22.01.2022 DUDLEY'S WEEKLY COOKING STUDIO Today's menu = Cheese Egg Liver Treats

20.01.2022 With our training leash from HarrietandHudson we are always prepared for any eventuality because it's easy to adjust the length of the leash. Whether short or long, the 3-way adjustable FREESTYLE leash is always there for us! The rings and carabiner are carefully and securely attached to the rope, so it is incredibly easy to adjust the leash to the desired length in just a few simple steps.

19.01.2022 This dog is serious

19.01.2022 I used to say things like: " I'm going to teach my dog how to roll over in 2 sessions " But there isn't a perfect time frame in dog training, so I adapted to a more ...... JUST KEEP IMPROVING attitude, and we have to deal with what we've got in front of us. It seems that ( thanks to Corona ) I understand the importance of 100% patience in dog training. Some things are taught quickly, others just take a while. It's like learning a new language. Words are pointless, and don't have a meaning - no matter how often you repeat them. Try to find out, what the problem is, rather than just repeating it over & over, louder & louder, or even annoyed, and then hoping for a miracle. Happy training Bentes Dog Training

16.01.2022 Pretzel 8 m/o fits right in with the older brothers

15.01.2022 A little bit fun in the park today

14.01.2022 My still beats for Swiss Shepherds "Tally" (6 m/o) came to a behaviour session today, because he was showing signs of fearful behaviour Fortunately Tally is only going through a fear stage, with a little breed specific timidity. His owner does a great job with him so far... Her homework for Tally will be to go out everyday and feed either breakfast, or dinner in a low destractive new environment ( e.g. park, sports grounds ) "Tally" lives a little isolated out West, and needs to have several positive outings, so that he can start to generalise new places, and don't feel threatened by them "Pretzel" is helping with our training today, because Tally haven't met many other dogs yet We can't wait to see him in 2 weeks again

13.01.2022 "HOLD & SIT PRETTY"

09.01.2022 "Crush" & "Chilli" 2 French Bulldogs, both young The owner booked me a few months back, because both dogs pulled extremely, and the owner heavily pregnant struggled with walking both dogs at the same time. She wanted to be able to take them on walks with the baby and the pram They also showed reactivity towards other dogs, attacked the broom, and started fence running, when people walked their dogs passed the Frenchies backyard... We * fixed the broom issue * loose leash walking is almost fixed * fence running is much better We're still working on the dog reactivity, but we're half way there, and I'll post a video about the reactivity next week So proud of "Crush's" and "Chilli's" owner See more

08.01.2022 Dudley loved our little training session today

08.01.2022 So proud of my little man Well done Mr. Big

07.01.2022 Last session for handsome "Aldo" today He came in with great leash manners when no distractions were around His owner did a very good job in regards to this... Unfortunately it didn't work too well, when "Aldo" saw another dog, bird, or just decided to sniff that particular tree We met a few times at different places, practiced with my dogs, had other dogs approaching, and even birds came along to distract "Aldo" My job was to show "Aldos" owners how to get "Aldo" to focus on them, and direct his wrong learnt behaviour into making the right choice It wasn't always easy, but "Aldos" owner now have enough tools to help him through difficult situations I wish them all the best for a bright future with this amazing dog See more

02.01.2022 Update: Pebbles found a wonderful home -------------------------- A client of mine ( 70 years old ) had to admit, that a Border Collie puppy is to much of a hand full for him. That's the reason he's looking for a new home for Pebbles Pebbles is 17 weeks old, fully vaccinated, not desexed yet, and overall healthy... She's doing all "naughty" puppy things ( e.g. nipping, zoomies, a little barking) but she has no behavioural issues as far as I know, but I never met her other than in my training class She was very social with my dogs Pebbles owner wants what he paid for, which is $ 1500 Please contact me first and I'll pass your details to the owner, if suitable 0437180026 (First photo is the father)
