07.01.2022 We are seeing many new puppies and there have been a few with this significant dental issue... an overbite. Sounds innocent but it’s not and can be very painful. Left untreated, the lower canine teeth can puncture through into the upper gum, causing pain every time the pup bites down. The pup in this pic is 10 weeks old and already has fractured crowns and a blue damaged lower canine tooth. Early intervention can allow the bite to improve and the safe passage of emerging adult teeth. If your pup has this, come in for a free dental evaluation to learn more.
