12.01.2022 What a start to Christmas.. This is our home yesterday as the fire came through Mt York impacting almost my entire family network. From my parents, siblings, grandparents to friends, animals, neighbors, community, our babies and our homes. We are the lucky ones. Our safe places are safe again. The Saturday before Christmas for my industry is by far the best day for business for the entire year. These few days carry us through January when it’s the holiday period and everyone... goes away. Yesterday I went from having a full day to not having one single client because of the threat of fire. People are leaving or to scared to leave. We are by far ok!! Financially it sucks but we’ll survive. We are not the only ones. Now I’m not asking you to donate your money, time or food. I’m asking to change the way you think. SHOP LOCAL! HELP THE COMMUNITY! Some clients work in the food industry, tourism, retail etc and they have NEVER had a slower start to Christmas ever. There’s no Christmas spirit here at all. It’s depressing. So go and buy a coffee, a loaf of bread from the bakery, meat from the butcher, a gift voucher from a retail store, a beer from the pub anything to support the little man. Most of the firefighters who are saving homes work for small business. And once this all settles down come back up here! Come and stay the weekend, go out for dinner don’t let the small towns suffer even more from these horrible fires than they already have. 10.01.2022 The best spot to relax with the scent some of my Great Grandmothers butterfly flowers. Fun fact my Nana’s mum gave my mum a cutting off her plant and she grew it in her garden. Mum then gave me a piece to grow in my garden and it now grows right at the caravan door thanks to @illuminatelandscapes I also had it in my wedding bouquet by the beautiful @floral.by.nature I often see butterflies around it when I’m working and it gives me a sense of peace knowing Nana Sims is still around

07.01.2022 As of today Bentley and Brown is temporarily closed. This decision was not an easy one but we feel is the right one especially when this little man is our priority. It’s our job to protect our family, friends, community and clients. We appreciate the support we’ve received over this and to the people that haven’t been as kind I only hope that you can see my reasoning in those big brown eyes. If you have an appointment coming up we’ll be in contact. In the meantime we are available for your take home product options. We will keep you updated when we’re expecting to be back. 03.01.2022 2020! Back and ready for another crazy year full of hair and good times. Thank you for all the support through 2019. It was certainly a full on year but that’s how it goes with us Our gorgeous little man was born in February and I kicked off my passion project that’s been in the making since 2016. It’s not easy this Mum juggle and starting a business with a 4 month old was definitely not easy but I’m so glad we did and appreciate your patience with me through this whole experience. So looking forward to another year with you all and my little family Tiff

03.01.2022 I for one have loved this time to reflect on what’s important in my life and you’re looking at it. The reason I show up to work everyday! Thank you all for supporting the incredibly hard decision I made a month ago but I’M BACK! It’s business as usual (sort of). We are adapting lots of changes around the salon to comply with the safety regulations for our clients and ourselves. Under no circumstances can you bring anyone to your hair appointment as we’ll be looking after o...ne client at a time. The hand sanitizer at the door of the salon must be used upon arrival. Please reschedule your appointment if you have any cold or flu symptoms. Bring a good book as magazines are still not going to be offered. Be ready for a chat because I’ve missed you all so so much and please be patient. I can’t look after the capacity of clientele I was pre Covid-19. I hope you’re all well.
