22.01.2022 Yesterday we said goodbye to Bent St Vet’s youngest (although the tallest) employee, Taylah McHarg. She’s flying the coop to discover the world of independence and tertiary education. She will be studying her first year of Veterinary Technology at the University of Queensland’s Gatton campus. This is a stepping stone for her to hopefully continue studying further into Veterinary Science and becoming a veterinarian just like her current role models at BSV, Dr. Geoff and Dr. Carlee. She has been an asset to our team, not only being a helping hand but also brightening up our days with her radiating smile. Your future will be so bright Taylah, we wish you all the best.

19.01.2022 Here at Bent Street Vet we take the health and safety of our our staff, clients and patients very seriously. Therefore, we are putting in place some precautionary measures to limit the impact of the corona-virus on our local community. Currently, we are open and continuing to provide a high standard of veterinary care to all our clients and their animals. There is no interruption to our supplies of medication or food, and we will continue to offer all services to you and your... pet. If this situation changes, we will keep you updated. To protect our team, clients and community, we are asking that you take the following steps when coming to the clinic: * Please use the hand sanitiser provided at reception upon entry to the clinic * Keep the number of people you bring to your appointment to the bare minimum, ideally one. * We advise clients to wait outside or in your car prior to your appointment to avoid too many people in the reception area, you can call us to advise us of your arrival. * Please phone ahead to order required prescription medicine repeats or food, worming and flea control in advance so we can arrange to have them ready for you to reduce time needed to spend in the clinic. * Ideally use tap and go methods for payment rather than handling cash. * If you’re unwell with cold or flu symptoms, or are self-isolating, please call us on 5482 6922 in advance so we can take precautionary steps. Where possible if a family member or friend can bring your pet in, we can facilitate treatment and communicate with you over the phone. Our usual cleaning regime of regular decontamination with veterinary grade disinfectant has been further increased as a precaution. We are working hard to ensure we can continue to provide complete veterinary care during this time. We will keep you updated if any changes occur in our daily services due to this rapidly evolving situation. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. Many thanks, All of the team

09.01.2022 Wow! Aren’t we feeling the Christmas love from our clients!? Thank you to Shara and Michelle for this outstanding effort. They put scented soaps in syringes, sample containers and IVFT bags as well as filling pill bottles with chocolates. The Nutella filled syringes in cupcakes were admittedly our favourite. We absolutely love your creativity and your generosity. Check out what they created for us!
