Let's get strong and ready for randori.

17.01.2022 Dear members, In light of the daily changes relating to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to put special measures in place to ensure the that everyone remains healthy during this time. WHAT ARE WE DOING? ... We will continue to run our classes as normal but will introduce and enforce some new procedures to keep everyone safe. First and foremost - IF UNWELL DO NOT COME TO TRAINING OR ATTEND THE CLUB. From now on we ask that if you do not feel well, including coughing, sneezing, feeling feverish, sore throat, headaches, chills and other obvious symptoms please do not come into the club, please contact your GP for further instructions and stay home until well. We want you well, as well as everyone else, so we can all continue to train. Anyone arriving at the club displaying any symptoms as named above, will be asked to please leave. Upon arrival at the club all members are required to wash their hands and/or sanitise their hands. NORMAL MAT RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED. GENERAL JUDO HYGIENE Come to training with a freshly laundered gi. Wash your gi after every training session. Wash your belt and gym bag regularly. Sanitize your hands before stepping on the mats. Trim your fingernails. If you have long hair, make sure to fix it up so that it won’t interfere with training. Shower and use deodorant. No shoes on the mats! And in turn, put them back on every time your step off the mats We understand that all schools and public locations are being advised to take extra care and to keep premises clean, we are therefore having the club cleaned and disinfected more rigorously, more frequently. Providing extra hand soap and hand sanitiser (when available) for use. We ask to please use these sensibly due to the shortage of these items. Those with children, please assist your children in cleaning their hands thoroughly. MAT CLEANING We would appreciate team members to volunteer some of their time straight after class to help us vacuum and mop the mats as a further precaution. We thank you all for your cooperation during this time and will provide further notice if things change.

16.01.2022 Dear members In light of the latest developements of the Corona Virus (COVID -19) crisis, it is spreading at an abnormal rate and it would be negligent for us as a club to continue running classes while there is so much uncertainty in the community. Even though we have not had any positive cases at the club, we feel that it is only a matter of time before it reaches us. At BJA your health and wellbeing is the utmost importance to us so we have decided to close the dojo effec...tive immediately until further notice. We will reassess the situation at the start of next term on the 13th of April 2020 and hopefully there will be some good news by then. We will continue to keep you up to date with more news. We appreciate your support through this very tough time. Stay safe and see you on the mat. ' Even after the worst storms, the sun will shine again '
