12.01.2022 Australian friends - this is one example of why we need to be vigilant and vote with our $$ at the supermarket. The jar on the left is Australian made and owned... using 99% Australian products and cost $2. The jar in the right was made in Belgium (0% Australian products) and cost $1.80. Coles and Woolworths are slowly removing Australian brands from the shelves and replacing them with generic (and often not Australian) products. The only way we can stop this is to read the labels and buy Australian where we can. Otherwise before we know it we won't have the option to buy Australian products. We won't know where our food is coming from or what is really in it. And that is an Australia I don't want to live in. (PS I have made this post public - if you are passionate about Australia and Australian made as I am please share)
