24.01.2022 K-2 Gymnastics has been running for the last two weeks every Monday. Please make sure your child is wearing their sport shoes (joggers) and if girls are wearing their tunics, appropriate undergarment covering would help. This could be shorts under their tunics if they do not have school skorts.

23.01.2022 We are having fun in the playground while the fire brigade are investigating smoke in one of our storerooms. Hopefully we will be back in class before too long.

20.01.2022 Help Year 2 raise money for endangered animals. 50 cents per guess or 3 guesses for $1. Competition open from Monday 21st of September until Thursday the 24th of September (Week 10). Winner keeps the beans!... Good luck!

Interrelate are running a cybersafety program for our Stage 3 students on Thursday 10th September. The 90 minute session will be informative, equipping students to make sensible and safe choices when online. The program is free.

18.01.2022 Cybersafety Program - delivered by Interrelate and University of Technology Sydney (UTS) On Thursday, week 8, our Stage 3 students were involved in the Interrelate Program which focused on Cybersafety. Our students learnt so much from this experience and here are just a sample of the messages that our students wanted to share. This is what I learnt: When I am being cyberbullied, I know how to handle it and how to react maturely about it Bianca Social media can be fun but ...also can be dangerous as it causes bullying on there along with nasty comments Mikayla If you post some pictures or videos, make sure you cover up your school symbol and blur important information, and never show where you live Emity When you are bullied, don’t be scared to tell a trusted adult! If you don’t tell a trusted adult, it will keep going Shaylee Social media is fun BUT it isn’t all fun and games Aleia I found out more ways to be safe when using social media accounts Charlie I found out how to turn your location off and how people can steal your identity and use your personal information Lucy After listening to this I’m going to change the way I use social media, for example, make a stronger password Bree After the talk, I am more aware of the types of things that can happen on social media, like people using misleading information about their identity - Sieanna Our students at Beresfield PS are super keen to be responsible on social media and will be sharing more about this in Term 4 See more

13.01.2022 Don't forget... Year 2 Fundraiser finishes tomorrow! Year 2 Fundraiser Students in Year 2 have been researching and learning about animals around the world both in natural and captive environments. Students have elected to raise money for endangered animals and will be running a fundraising competition throughout week 10. When: Monday 21st September- Thursday 24th September 2020 (Week 10).... Where: Area E in front of the hall door during lunch. What: Jellybean guessing competition. Price: 50 cents per guess or $1.00 for three. Winner will be announced on Friday the 25th of September 2020 (Week 10). See more
