23.01.2022 Let’s talk FUNNY FACE Release The new Funny Faces are pretty much prepped and ready to assemble. There were considerably more requests for large based on the poll in my stories a few weeks back though both large and small will be made available. So tell me in the comments below if you would prefer to customise your face, as Britney has done in the pic above, or would you prefer to pick online from a range that I make up? What’s customisable? Eye colour, stud top or hook, ...earring colour, eye lashes v eye brows and open or closed mouths. What is not customisable is the background colours as each pair is cut from a larger slab that has been created with a cane.....swipe for example pics. I can open custom requests as early as Tuesday night (along with the Easter release) if that ends up being the way you all wish to go. Thanks lovelies xx See more

23.01.2022 Well now what do we have here? New things are coming and yes there is still polymer clay involved! Time to brush up on the macrame skills and get these fingers knotting again . So many crafty skills have been learnt over the years so why not combine a few I say! . A side note....My translucent range is still progressing, I’m just waiting on another order of my favourite translucent clay which is not as readily available and will be another week away at a minimum......we ca...n blame covid for that timeframe. . 21.01.2022 Think we’ll call this collection Strawberries and Cream . Here’s a vid of my early morning resin pour using @barnesproducts epoxyglass that took an hour to complete, reduced down to just 23 seconds. The technique that I like to use is to stick my polymer clay pieces down with a tiny bit of tack to a tile, drip the resin onto each piece then l use a skewer to carefully drag the resin to the very outer edges. I’ve been a user of Barnes products for many years ever since I did a @canducreative course gifted to me by my sister at Christmas around 10 years ago. Like polymer clay, resin too has so many possibilities! . Enjoy your Sunday, we’re eagerly waiting on the announcement to ease our restrictions here in Vic
21.01.2022 So satisfying to watch.....paper thin slices every time on my @lucyclaytools slicer. It’s now over two years old and I’ve not needed to change my blade but it could do with little scrub to remove the metal patina although it doesn’t affect my clay as it is. Hope you’re all having a lovely Friday. It has gone back to woollen jumper weather today in Melbourne!
20.01.2022 First wall hanging done What do we think? I’ve had so much fun expanding my skills and making new things in the background over the last little while but now the cat is out of the bag and I’m proud to show you all my new wall decor/hangings. Each individually made and different to the next and they range from boho, to nursery themed to modern and contemporary. Something for everyone be it a treat for yourself or as a gift to someone special. . On a side note....Brushing... out all the cotton thread on this one kinda reminded me of brushing the knots out of my little sisters hair....at least my wall hanging didn’t complain with every stroke of the comb . 20.01.2022 Loving the extra ‘drapey’ and ‘ruffley’ effect that I did on these. It makes them a little more unique don’t you think?! So soft and flowy looking, it’s hard to believe that they’re polymer clay.

Embossed matte metallic polymer clay pieces matched with pale gold and stainless steel findings. This piece is pure magic with a little sun shining on it For perspective this piece is almost 10cm wide and hangs approximately 35cm long .... Would love to hear your thoughts. See more
19.01.2022 Happy scrappy pieces tonight! Putting up the throwback post this morning reminded me that I had a tub of scraps that was exclusively for my pardo clay bits. A tub that I probably started 2 years ago! So I added in the scraps from the kingfisher and with a chop chop here and a chop chop there, adding a bit of premo translucent for good measure, and voila! . If only the camera could capture the depth that the naked eye can see in these components. The bits of colour are litera...lly floating within . For those who have not used pardo translucent clay before, it is not an easy clay to work with as it can be difficult to condition and plaques very easily. But the results are fabulous! It’s very strong, can be sliced very thin, blends beautifully for new colours and the translucency is the best on the market. The raw cane on the right of the pic looks completely different to the baked piece and that’s because pardo has natural beeswax in the recipe so once cured the true colours come alive. . Oh and a shout out to @arc_and_curve .... loving my new shape cutters! Top quality, funky shapes and most importantly, a damn good cut!!! See more

18.01.2022 TERRAZZO TRINKET BOWLS Textured outside, gorgeous neutral tones, dusty pinks with a splattering of greens and copper and lastly a hint of black and rose gold glitter. What’s not to love about these earthy colours. . And best of all the earring version of this had its resin coating done today so more on those soon . .... So pleasing to hear the case numbers are down again in Melbourne so our restrictions will be lifted soon. See more
17.01.2022 New embossed metallic components! I popped the making of these in stories yesterday and the result was amazing. You guys loved them! They’ve baked up more matte metallic but I’m kinda liking them more like this. . Any guesses what the large pieces in the background are for?

Made entirely from polymer clay(even the frame), this gorgeous wall hanging/ artwork brings together my detailed Frida canework and Liz’s signature bright detailed florals! The contrast of her monochrome face to the bright flowers and her crimson lippy is just visually stunning! And not forgetting her accessories, Frida also ...sports some pretty crystal earrings! . 13.01.2022 OMGEEE I even surprised myself today with how well these butterflies turned out. Miss 5 was very quick to claim them as hers . These pics were taken at 5pm in Melbourne with no direct sunlight on this south facing window so I can just imagine how bright they would be in full sun . I loved them sooo much that I literally couldn’t stop taking photos lol. . Just stuck down with blue tack so does anyone know where I can find suction cup thingies from? . 09.01.2022 Watch as my little kingfisher prototype comes alive from the shade to full sun. . I’m so happy with how this has turned out.....I had one of those weeks last week where I felt that everything I touched turned to absolute shite. So many failed projects, frustrations and yes a few tantrums and tears too. Ideas are a plenty in my head but the reality of them coming to life last week nearly broke me. . So it’s a big yippee that this little guy has restored some faith and confidence.....now I just have to bring my vision for him to reality in a pair of earrings!
09.01.2022 Finally the wait is over and l can announce my beautiful Frida collab with Liz @coloursbyliz who’s talent knows no end. . I posted previously how my Frida cane did not reduce well and I was heartbroken over all the stunning jewellery we could have made together. However, I am so pleased that Liz stuck by me through all the chopping and changing of plans (who’s the patient one now Liz! Haha) and we were still able to bring to life these Frida portraits. . She was a labour of... love, hours of painstaking detailed work and when Liz sent me a photo today of her in all her flower glory, I had a little cry....happy tears of course. . Thanks Liz, I love how we were on the same page and worked together to create these very limited edition Frida wall hangings. See more

We did it Melbourne and we get to celebrate with a little easing of restrictions from tomorrow so I’d say that calls for a little confetti in tonight’s pics.
