25.01.2022 Hi everyone Just a reminder tomorrow Friday 29th club night swimming is starting at 6:00 pm . The following week Friday nights club swim will commence from 7:00 pm . On next Saturday 6 November we will commence learn to swim between 8-10 am. ... We still have a few places left so there is still time for people to join , and they can use their active vouchers. 20.01.2022 Hi everyone This Friday night swim club members will be commencing swim championship races and this will run over 5 weeks. Swim distances will be by age group. Age 7 and under - distance all strokes is 25 m (medley 100m)... 8 & 9 - distance all strokes 50 m (medley is 100m ) 10 & over - distance all strokes 100 m (medley 200 m ) We ask Friday night swimmers to come down the pool at least by a quarter to 7 . More information is contained in the member handbook . Thank you

18.01.2022 With the 2019/20 swim season fast approaching we have some important dates for families wanting to enrol in Berkeley Swim Club. Registration for Friday night club swim is now open online at swimcentral.swimming.org.au. Club swim registration will cover Friday competition nights and Saturday morning learn to swim. Friday 25 Oct will be first evening for Friday swim club members. Payment is made online ONLY when registering, and Active Kids Voucher may be used. For parents w...ith children who are interested in LEARN TO SWIM ONLY lessons (ie excluding Friday competition nights) , these lessons run on Saturday mornings only. For Learn To Swim lessons registration will be held on Saturday 19 OCTOBER between 10:00 am and 12 midday down at Berkeley pool. There are no eftpos facilities available so it will be cash only. We do accept Active Kids Voucher and you will need to bring copy of voucher on the day if using. We have limited places available therefore it will be first in first served policy. On this day an information booklet will also be available. The first lesson will be held on Saturday 2 November. Thankyou

15.01.2022 Hi Just an important note that we still have more spots left for learn to swim classes mostly in higher levels. Registration is online, but unfortunately the software does not recognise a limit on numbers so if you pay and classes are full we will reimburse the payment. ... swim lessons will commence on Saturday 7 November. If your child is under the age of 4 , a parent must get into the water with your child to assist It is the same rule if they are over 4 and do not follow instructions. Please take this rule seriously for the safety of all young swimmers. ... Thank you

11.01.2022 Hi We just want to remind people that the Berkeley amateur swim club will be holding information day this Saturday morning between 10-12 . We will also be providing swim assessments for your child if your not sure what level they may be . You will need to know this when you register them online. ( online registration open next day on 18 oct - swimcentral.swimming.org.au) . ... Spots in the lower levels of swimming lessons ( 1 , 2 ,3 ) are usually limited therefore it’s best to know their level as not to miss out . Thankyou Ann Aranda Zinet Polozani

We will also have 2 qualified swim instructors to assess your child’s swim level as you will need to know this when enrolling online. This is particularly important if you are a new member . One of the questions online enrolment will ask you this. ... Existing members may have assessments too but if unable to make it to the pool today just put down what level they finished off last year . Thankyou

08.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just an update for registering for swim club . It needs to be done through swimcentral.swimming.org. Once logged in you have to choose one option per child.... A) use active kids voucher ( ensure you have uploaded document first ) . Note this only pays $100 . You will need to pay $20 per child direct to club account or cash by first swim meet . B) no voucher and child is 8 or under - choose option 8 or under. C) no voucher and child is 9 and over choose that option. The system will be checked often to process vouchers so membership is complete. Club bank details for those wanting pay $20 remainder of voucher is BSB 062636 ACC 00910674 Thank you

We have been informed by Swimming Australia that this is in line with the sports regulations due to Coronavirus . ... It is unfortunate but understandable. We however have the trophies ready . If anyone has any suggestions on an alternative to presentation night ( therefore the kids can receive trophies) can you please offer a suggestion in the comments . Thanks for your understanding

02.01.2022 Hi Berkeley swim club members and friends. We are pleased to confirm the 2020/21 swim season will proceed this year commencing towards the end of this month of October . We will be running Friday pointscore for club members. We will also be conducting Learn To Swim Lessons ( LTS) on Saturday mornings. As usual those who are registered Friday night club swimming will get first priority to do LTS on Saturday mornings. ... All club registrations will be online this year and LTS registration will be online as well. Registration are open from 18 October 2020 at swimcentral.swimming.org.au We know there is a lot of questions therefore an information day will be held on Saturday 17th October between 10-12 at Berkeley pools . It will cover dates, costing, membership etc . We will also have 2 Auswim teachers if you are not sure what level LTS your child is on. Thankyou Ann Aranda Zinet Polozani
