13.01.2022 Imagine being born as a human but being told you are only part of the flora and fauna of the country and it took a vote for the Government to recognise you as a human being. 1967 is not that long ago in our nation's history. As a child I remember my parents working very hard with other members of the community to have this injustice changed and for the Indigenous people of this great country being recognised as a fellow person not just a piece of flora or as an animal of the land. Please read Mark's comments below and share with your friends and family so that we can all have a better understanding of the anger and hurt that Indigenous peoples still have today.

We reflect on the sad an...d painful history of the Stolen Generations and recognise moments of resilience, healing and the power of saying ‘Sorry’. We acknowledge the Stolen Generations Survivors and their Descendants and the trauma that has passed through generations of Aboriginal families and communities. #NationalSorryDay
