A Christmas present for a young pioer from Oxley College taught by Rob Parker from Celtic Traditions. We look forward to watching the young mans progress into the pipe band world . Ceòl is Gaelic for music, the Ceòl pipe chanter creates music not just sound. It has a completely new internal size, new throat, new reed seat and hole pattern. It’s round holed and very easy and comfortable to play. It is designed to work well with a wide variety of reeds. ... 08.01.2022 Today. New Tenor Drums! After a year of fundraising through shows and donations from lovely supporters of the band, we have finally received our new set of te...nor drums! Just like some airlines have different types of planes from different companies within one fleet, we decided to purchase Premier tenors although our snares are pearls. This decision was made based on our preference of the sound they produce and our experience with them so far, as we've played them whilst guesting with other bands in higher grades than us. We have many people to thank for helping us make this happen. Firstly, we would like to thank Sri Dasmesh Pitaji, Dhan Dhan Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, Baja Valey, King of Kings, for always standing by our side and supporting the band and keeping it going. Secondly, the dedicated members of Dasmesh, they've spent weekends, weekdays and all sorts of odd hours dedicated to getting shows to support the band and help it grow and without them we just wouldn't have what we have. Thirdly, we would like to thank our dear friend Barry Gray from Sydney Australia, for making all of this happen and helping us deal with Premier.
