24.01.2022 GYMNASTICS COMPETITION Last Saturday, twelve gymnasts from Bermagui Gymnastics entered the Tathra Competition. Well done to:- Level 1: Rose (1st), Billie M, Daisy, Elodie, Kami, Tahneisha, Lily K, Lara... Level 2: Amelia (1st), Keira (2nd) Level 4: Asha (3rd) and Bella J They all worked hard and did a great job representing our club. Most gymnasts progressed to the next level and received certificates and some received medals. SO PROUD! Ros

23.01.2022 We are very excited about returning to gymnastics! Even though restrictions are lifted, we will endeavour to reopen Bermagui Gymnastics on 10 August (restrictions permitting). Currently we are unable to rent the School hall and we are unsure when this will change. Also I will be away for the first 3 weeks of term 3 as my daughter is having a baby. To secure a spot in a class, you need to let me know if your child intends to return as classes are currently limited to 10. SMS or email [email protected] I will confirm our start date as soon as possible. We are all missing gymnastics and look forward to starting again soon. Ros

13.01.2022 In the best interest and well being of our gymnasts, coaches and our families, we have made the difficult decision to delay restarting classes at Bermagui Gymnastics. Before we start, we need to arrange additional staff and provide ‘COVID Safe’ training to our coaches. We intend to resume for Term 4, however we will reassess a little closer. ... Please like our ‘Bermagui Gymnastics’ Facebook page for updates. Our biggest focus is on keeping our staff, gymnasts and community safe. We look forward to returning to gymnastics soon. Take care.

08.01.2022 2019 WAG COMPETITIONS BERMAGUI AND CANBERRA Last term finished a busy competition season for Bermagui Gymnastics after attending five competitions this year. Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) consists of routines on floor, bar, beam and vault. BERMAGUI GYMNASTICS hosted two competitions, one on Sunday, 11 August for Levels 5-8 and another on Sunday, 25 August for Levels 1-4. ... 12 of our gymnasts attended the competition for Levels 5-8 (using ACT State routines). Level 5 Sophie P (1st), Claire (3rd), Kya, Milla, Sienna P, Kaylie, Graciella, Laura, Annabel Level 6 Lucy W (1st), Sierra (2nd) Level 8 Seanna M 14 of our gymnasts attended the competition for Levels 1-4 (using Southern Canberra Gymnastics’ routines). Level 1 Gabrielle (1st), Billie H (2nd), Allynta, Kaely-Rose Level 2 Rose (1st), Sophie W (2nd), Tahneisha, Billie M Level 3 Amelia (1st), Erin, Kia B Level 4 Lily M (1st), Asha, Bella J Many thanks to Alison, Melisa, Emma, Gail, Gordon, Esme and Liz for their assistance with two smooth running competitions. Congratulations to our 11 gymnasts from who travelled to Gungahlin Gymnastics for the ACT State Levels 5-10 competition. Gymnasts from levels 5, 6 and 8 competed on Sunday, 8 September. Well done to Sophie P (6th), Milla, Laura, Sienna P, Kya, Graciella, Annabel, Kaylie and Claire (Level 5), Sierra (Level 6) and Seanna M (Level 8) who did a fantastic job representing our club with their great routines. We even took home some medals with Sophie P 3rd on beam and Milla 3rd on vault. Congratulations also to our 5 gymnasts from levels 1 to 4 who travelled to Wanniassa for the Southern Canberra Gymnastics Club competition on Sunday, 15 September. Level 2 Billie H Level 3 Billie M Level 4 Amelia, Asha and Bella J All gymnasts performed very well. They received certificates, medals and trophies. Thanks to Emma and Liz for assisting on both days. Well done to those who competed throughout the year. All gymnasts had fun and have worked hard, resulting in many progressing to the next level. Billie H, Rose and Tahneisha achieved high scores at two competitions and progressed by two levels. Also, a special mention to Billie M and Amelia who achieved high scores at three competitions and progressed by three levels. Great work gymnasts from Bermagui Gymnastics keep it up!
