16.01.2022 Square breathing (or box breathing) can be a nice little way to slow down the mind as you slow down your breath. You can imagine drawing the four sides of the square as you breathe in, pause, exhale, pause for even counts. I like to count to four, but it'll be different for all of us. Attention to breath can give us something else to focus on, as we practice letting go. I'll be sharing this one in classes this week

16.01.2022 It's okay to be angry, frustrated and upset. It's okay to not be okay. We're stuck in lockdown for a little longer here in Melbourne, and that's going to be really difficult for some of us. Be kind to each other, you don't know how hard it might be for someone else. Today I'm choosing to look at silver linings, enjoy the sunshine, and enjoy the "slower" pace of life right now..... I'll continue to run my classes online as long as they need to be - public and private classes. Or just reach out for a chat

11.01.2022 Heading into our first weekend, how are all of you Melburnians feeling moving out of lockdown and back into the world? Feeling excited? Feeling anxious? Feeling like the world has once again been turned upside down? If I'm honest, I'm a bit trepidatious. I'm excited to get out there and see people, but it's all a bit overwhelming... ... I'll look at moving some classes back to in person, or a mix of both. Let me know what you're looking for. Let me know how you're feeling... Let's all move slowly into this. Feel how you feel. And not forget how we got here.

05.01.2022 Happy Friday How are we all going? Yesterday was R U OK Day, and while I hope it made you stop, think and check in with someone, I also hope that you continue that conversation today. And every day, when you have the capacity to. And if you can't, then reach out to someone for you. Lean in to those around you. And if nothing else, there's always yoga ... Keep on, keeping on. We might not be okay today, or tomorrow. But we will be #womenshealthweek
