25.01.2022 The morning started off with the girls at the majestic Sir Stamford Hotel in the heart of Sydney. As soon as we entered the hotel suite, our ears were serenaded with soothing instrumental music and in front of us sat our gorgeous bride, Haley. The bride decorated her hotel suite with gorgeous butterfly paper cut outs and a banner that read, Love, Laughter and Happily Ever After On the tables and chaise laid the girls’ shoes, jewellery and accessories all beautifully display...ed for the cameras. The lovely bride took us aback by her amazing wedding schedule. It was so detailed that it filled a very impressive 14 pages, in size 10 font! On top of that, she was such a darling and individualized her massive schedule for everybody. Needless to say, having planned out and organized her wedding day down the minutest detail, Haley was incredibly calm and chilled out all day long. James was still recovering from a bad cold but that didn’t stop him from being meticulous in making sure his groomsmen got ready on time and that they didn’t leave any decorations and items behind for the ceremony and reception. There was a hilarious fiasco involving his pocket-handkerchief, which each groomsmen and his sister and brother in law took turns to help him fold in different ways. Haley and James’ wedding ceremony was a very intimate one, held at the Rose Garden at Sydney’s iconic Royal Botanic Gardens. Surrounded by loved ones, the two exchanged their vows with the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the backdrop. Haley overwhelmed by her emotions, struggled with her vows as she tried to hold back her tears but to no avail as James gazed lovingly at his wife-to-be. The celebrations moved to Kam Fook Restaurant in Chatswood in the evening where the couple’s Same Day Edit film was premiered. Once again, emotions ran high and Haley was moved to tears. We also captured Haley’s beloved mother shedding happy tears. We would like to thank Haley and James for letting us capture their wonderful wedding. Their easy-going nature gave us the artistic freedom to create and bring out the best of their wedding day in their Same Day Edit film. 22.01.2022 Con and Lilan are one of the most loving couples we've had the privilege to film. They were guests at Jessica and Adrian's wedding and they approached us after seeing the Same Day Edit wedding video we presented on the night. It's these chance encounters that we love when couples get to celebrate with their friends and also get to see how we work. The two first met at their workplace, Lilan had feelings for Con and she would ask her friends what she should do to get Con's att...ention. Unbeknownst to her, Con was attracted to her from the beginning and their relationship grew on from there. One of the most touching moments from the wedding was when Con got to see Lilan for the first time in her red traditional dress. As soon as the door to her bedroom was opened, Lilan ran towards her hubby-to-be and kissed him for the longest of time. The two only stopped after incessant teasing from the bridesmaids. At church for the wedding ceremony, Con stood facing the altar waiting for Lilan as their guests entered St Raphael's Greek Orthodox Church. It was such a sweet moment when Lilan and her father walked down the aisle and Con turned around to see his bride. The man was so over-whelmed with happiness that tears streamed down his face. They held their wedding reception at The Waterview. Guests were treated to heartfelt speeches from the bridal party and traditional Greek dance performance from none other than the Groom himself! 21.01.2022 Remember to like us on Facebook at Bernard Lau Films! The morning for our groom, Ky was hectic to say the least. He was Commander-in-Groom, and an extremely good one at that, never losing his big smile and yet getting everyone organized and ready for the big day. One of the funniest moments (and trust me there were plenty) on the day was when Ky was hyperventilating in the limo and trying his best to memorize his vows when the groomsmen kept interrupting him so that he would ...speak their names at the ceremony. Thankfully, that didn't happen but it sure was hilarious seeing the boys prank Ky and of course made for good comedy on film. In contrast, Anna was the calm and collected bride throughout the morning as she had her makeup and hair done while her bridesmaids got into their dresses and prepared the tea ceremony. As Anna finished getting into her traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai wedding dress, her mother began to get emotional, resulting in our bride giving her a big hug. With more than 500 guests at reception, Anna and Ky’s wedding celebration was the place to be that Saturday night. Guests were treated to a brilliant magic show, witty speeches and terrific live music. Needless to say, the bride and groom partied late into the night with their loved ones. We are so blessed to be able to capture this gorgeous couple’s wedding day and please join us in wishing them both all the happiness in the world for their days to come. The Magic Potions! 21.01.2022 We're so proud to present the Same Day Edit for the gorgeous Susan and Thien. They are one of the most down to Earth couple we’ve had the privilege of filming and we couldn’t of asked for a more perfect day shooting alongside the always bubbly Linda Truong Photography. Susan wore a stunning Arushie Bridal Couture dress that she had perfectly displayed on a mannequin for us in the morning in which she later wowed her guests and Thien as she walked down the aisle at Curzon Hall... The celebrations went well into the night at Liberty Palace where the couple treated their guests to Brazilian dancers, capoeira, a lovely decorated dessert bar and a fiery bridal dance. Congratulations guys! Like us at Bernard Lau Films and feel free to share!

17.01.2022 Remember to like us on Facebook at Bernard Lau Films! Vivian and Terry's love story shows us that love can be found at the most unsuspecting of places and when you least expect it. The both of them lived minutes apart from one another for years without knowing about the existence of one another until a chance meeting one day brought them together. Vivian and Terry only dated for a few months before Terry decided that it was time to tie the knot and marry his soul mate. Terry ...was incredibly emotional on the day. The tears started to flow when Terry first set his eyes on Vivian at the tea ceremony early in the morning. Both Vivian and Terry were very emotional whilst presenting tea to their mums and dads. But the tears didn’t stop there; Terry could not help but shed a couple more tears at the wedding ceremony as he watched his gorgeous bride walk down the aisle at the enchanting rose garden at Gledswood Homestead and Winery. Celebrant extraordinaire, Robyn Pattison told a story about the Chinese God of Marriage, Yue Laou as they tied two large red balloons together and released them to symbolise their eternal love for each other. Their wedding reception was held at Silver Pearl Restaurant in the heart of Cabramatta. Upon entering the restaurant we were awe-struck by the beautiful pink themed décor at the venue. Every table was decorated with an enormous bouquet of fresh roses and handcrafted scented candle bonbonnieres made by none other than the bride herself. Vivian and Terry are so sweet together and we love how carefree they are and we hope you enjoy their Same Day Edit SDE wedding film. 15.01.2022 Don’t forget to like us on Facebook at Bernard Lau Films :-) We remember the first time we met Jen and Steven as if it were yesterday, Jen with her rad facial piercings and Steven with his devil-may-care rocker hairstyle. What a cool couple! we excitedly thought. Whilst poor Steven looked a little tired on the day, Jen on the other hand was as energetic and bubbly as an Energizer Bunny. Suffice to say, Jen and Michelle hit it off immediately; talking about everything from t...he wedding, piercings, tattoos, even the subject of the paranormal was broached. What chemistry! On the day of the wedding, no expense was spared on automobiles. The boys arrived in church in style with the groomsmen and best man arriving in a shiny vintage silver low rider. The pièce de résistance was a bright orange Lamborghini, in which our gallant groom pulled-up in. It was like being on the set of Top Gear as wedding guests and pedestrians stopped dead in their tracks to ogle at the supercars which were beautifully parked at the church courtyard. The wedding ceremony was incredibly sweet; we saw Steven pulling funny faces to make his bride-to-be smile and the couple murmuring sweet nothings into each other’s ears during the ceremony. When the vows were said and the rings exchanged, true to Jen’s style she proudly displayed her wedding band for all to see which was received with thunderous applause from the congregation. Join us in wishing Jen and Steven all the love in the world and a very happily ever after! 13.01.2022 Remember to like us on Facebook at Bernard Lau Films :-) Let us introduce you to our supermodel bride, Rebecca. In her stunning champagne bridal dress, she looked like she’d just jumped out of the pages of Vogue. Fred, on the other hand is a man of few words, shy and reserved and a very good artist. His talent for design is showcased on their wedding invitation, chalkboard and picket sign fencing all of which were personally designed by the groom himself. The couple also wa...nts to list a few shout outs and thank those that helped out with their wedding: Everything at the wedding was hand made by the Jung family. Table number, menu chopping boards and photo display boards by Rebecca’s dad. Flower bouquets and arrangements by Rebecca’s sister, Jullietta and her mum Invitation design and make + chalkboard and picket sign fencing by the dashing groom, Fred Photo-booth Disney props by her sister, Celerina And last be not least, we want to thank Fred and Rebecca for sharing your intimate wedding celebrations with us. 11.01.2022 Remember to like us on Facebook at Bernard Lau Films :-) Deanne, a friend of Maria’s (who also happens to be an amazing photographer) introduced Maria and Clive to us. They are an extremely chilled out couple, so much so that we didn’t have to meet them until the wedding day itself. And boy, were we in for a treat! Before we entered the home where the girls were getting ready, we could already hear Maria’s infectious laughter out on the foyer. Her bubbly personality lit up th...e room and kept everyone in high-spirits throughout the day. Clive on the other hand, can be deceivingly quiet and calm at times but don’t be fooled; this man is a Chris Rock/Eddie Murphy in the making. His impeccable comedic timing during his speech set the room roaring with laughter. Even his supposed romantic letter to his bride wasn’t spared his comedic touch for he stuck a massive photo cutout of his face on the card. So our beloved bride was laughing and crying at the same time whilst reading it. Bless! We hope you enjoy this super funny and wonderful couple’s wedding day through their Same Day Edit and wish them a great life filled with joy and laughter. The Magic Potions! 01.01.2022 Don't forget to like us on Facebook at Bernard Lau Films! The morning at Henry’s was so warm and welcoming. As soon as we entered his home, we were greeted by his great big smile. He was camera ready from the get go so comfortable in fact that one would assume that he makes a living by being on TV. Over at Gloria’s, we were treated as part of the family. Our parents are old friends you see, so we felt at home immediately. Gloria and her mother would admire at each other’s ...transformation that morning and Gloria’s bridesmaids would scatter around helping to get things ready for a perfect day and a challenging set of door games for Henry. Henry and Gloria’s vows were incredible to say the least. Watching them on the camera monitor, we felt like we were on the set of a romantic comedy filming the ending scene for the movie. Their vows were funny, witty and very romantic of which consists of Gloria promising to go to cooking school to improve her culinary skills and Henry given the permission to paint their house in Bulldogs colors when they win the Grand Finals. Guests at the ceremony were roaring with laughter. We wish our romantic comedy couple, Henry and Gloria a happily ever after!
