19.01.2022 A massive shout out to this bloke. For anyone who doesn’t know Les Smith, he was the first Rep Coach for both 18 Boys and 18 Girls when Beresfield Juniors re-formed only 3 years ago. Last year he Co-Coached 18 Boys and 20 Boys (Both State Cup Grand Finalists) and also coached Men’s 40s and Women’s 20s at the same time whilst also playing. This weekend he selected 5 of the 7 teams. At the end of the Trials today, he remained at the fields to Coach our Women’s Open... A phenomenal effort from one of the great coaching minds in our Region, but most importantly a true Bero Club man. It would be remiss of us not to mention his efforts today.

Refereeing is a great way to be involved in our sport while keeping fit, and earning a bit of pocket money before you are old enough to work (we also welcome mums and dads to gain their qualifications too) The great news for young children obtaining their referee qualifications is they have the wonderful DAVID AOAKE mentoring them whilst they develop... and refine their skills. 06.01.2022 We are super excited to announce that Darren McSpadden has accepted the role of HEAD COACH for our Under 16 Boys. Darren was the coach of the Beresfield Under 18 Boys and Under 20 Boys who both made the Grand Final at their respective State Cups in 2019 & 2020. He is a multi National Winning Junior Coach as well as a multiple Aussie Representative. Darren's expertise in coaching in our Mens Divisions is phenomenal.

04.01.2022 8 weeks ago we were broken into as shared previously... 8 weeks of TRYING to get NCC to fix, and here we are again dealing with yet ANOTHER break in with loss of stock from our small club. We have rung weekly begging to get things fixed and get another bandaid solution with one sheet of ply on one roof cavity... Our committee continue to work our butts off, saving our money to not be provided with a safe, secure space for our belongings. We have lost our stock again... a minor sport club financially hurt again We have a bird infestation STILL not sorted We have constant break ins STILL the issue of access not resolved We are given Filthy toilets for our members - STILL not sorted Not good enough Newcastle City Council and to the kids doing this damage for the sake of a drink or lollies, we’d rather you come and have a game and we’ll look after you with a drink and a Feed if you are struggling... just spare us the frustration

04.01.2022 Well Done to our Under 10 Girls and Boys teams who participated in the Mini PWMC at Central Coast today. A great start to the Junior Rep season and oh so gorgeous A huge shout out to our two referees: Kai Trow and Alleya Scrivens who did fantastic jobs... Not long til our players get to showcase our new Rep Uniforms at Junior State Cup and we are excited !!!!
