25.01.2022 Did you know that you can request session bookings via the Xplor Home app? Mobile bookings allow parents to view the available bookings for a service on a given day on the Home app and instantly book a session. Click on the bookings tab. Click on the relevant day on the calendar. If there are no existing sessions, 'No Bookings' will display at the bottom of the screen. A session will need to be booked for this day.... To add a booking, click '(+) new' in the top right-hand corner and select 'Booking' in the pop-up. Select 'Request a space' then enter the details of the session you would like to request, this allows us to know if you're requesting a before school or after school session. Note: For multiple bookings, repeat the process above until all the sessions are selected. Once selected, click the pram icon in the top right-hand corner to move to the summary screen. The summary screen will display the name of the child, the sessions being booked and the time. If these are incorrect, click the back arrow to correct selections. Once happy with the selections, click 'Request'. If the sessions have been requested successfully, the next screen will show a 'confirmed' status for the booking. The booking will then be accepted or denied (this will depend on availability) by the co-ordinator or admin, you will receive a notification if the booking is rejected and the booking will show up on your bookings calendar if accepted. 21.01.2022 Berridale Out of School Hours Care, a not for profit organisation, is seeking a Coordinator for our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs. Role: To take leadership of the day to day operations of the service and provide strong educational leadership. The role includes planning of quality programs for after school care and vacation care and ensuring compliance with the Care and Education Services National Regulations, 2011 and the National Quality Framework. ...Working Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week during school terms, up to 36 hours per week during Vacation Care. Salary and Conditions: As per Children’s Service Award, 2010 based on qualifications and experience. Qualifications: Current Working With Children Check HLTAID001/3/4 CPR, First Aid and Emergency Response in an Education and Care Setting (asthma and anaphylaxis); CHCPRT001 Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm and/or CHCPRT002 Support the Rights and Safety of Children and Young People Essential Criteria: Experience in the planning, delivery and evaluation of programs for children 5 to 12 years; Willingness to fulfil the obligations of a Nominated Supervisor, including ensuring children’s health and hygiene, safety and well-being and risk management; Willingness to undertake a National Crime Check; Demonstrated skills in the supervision and positive behaviour management of school- aged children; Demonstrated effective communication and leadership skills; Ability to work effectively in a team environment; Effective computer skills and willingness to learn industry specific software programs; Understanding of the Care and Education Services National Regulations, 2011 and the National Quality Framework My Time, Our Place; Effective time management skills. Statements will still be emailed to all families at the beginning of each month however you are welcome to view your statement at any time (and pay your outstanding balance) via the Xplor Home app or web page. If your statement is missing your Child Care Subsidy credit and you believe you are entitled to receive CCS please follow the steps on the below link to ensure your Berridale OOSHC enrolment is connected to the CCS system correctly. 17.01.2022 Hi everyone, Hope you are enjoying the school holidays! 1- Due to COVID-19 we have had to hire more casual staff who don’t know everyone, so it would be greatly appreciated if you could all bring a signed letter of responsible parties who could potentially pick up your child if they are not already on your enrolment form. Please don’t be offended if some of the staff ask for ID.... 2- Due to increase of COVID cases we are still dropping off and picking up from the front gate. No-one apart from the children and staff are allowed on the grounds. Thank you.

16.01.2022 Its getting cold at Berridale OOSHC with our antarctic display exploring the icy environments of the poles. There is an interactive iceberg fishing activity, and the kids have made mosaic penguins and cotton wool polar bears. Brrrrr

14.01.2022 With Berridale Public School starting back up at the end of next week (or the following for children in kindergarten), it's time to start thinking about what days/sessions your child/ren will be attending our wonderful centre. Please email [email protected] with regular session bookings/enquiries or call the centre on either 64564444 or 0411280786 for casual session requirements as they arise. Letting us know in advance helps with rostering staff and planning activities ...for the children. Casual sessions are welcome, just make sure you let the centre know in advance so we can ensure staff:child ratios are kept compliant. Please don't forget that if you haven't already, you will need to return your 2021 enrolment form prior to your child/ren's first session this year. Blank copies are available from the centre when it's open or a copy can be emailed to you upon request.

09.01.2022 In preparation for Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy resuming we are asking all parents to sign their Complying Written Arrangement (CWA) and confirm their CCS enrolments via MyGov (Centrelink). The attached link explains how this can be done. Doing the above ensures that if you are entitled to claim CCS then it will be applied to your account. If you don't complete these steps you may have to pay your fees in full. *There has been a small clitch with ...the app not showing your child's CWA, if this is the case trying logging into the website and signing it that way. If you disagree with the sessions that are displayed on your CWA, please email the centre and these sessions will be updated and a new CWA will be issued for you to sign.
