25.01.2022 Hi all. This is a bit of a call out. BADS and the hall committee are looking for old photographs of the hall interior - in particular photographs of the old stage curtains. The hall committee is working with the Council on replacing the curtains and old photographs may help with making sure the new curtains are amazing!... If you have any photographs - please send them though this page or contact Matt at the Council office.

11.01.2022 Neville and his team - along with the Council - have taken advantage of the COVID-19 restrictions to make some improvements at our home. New curtains and backdrops have been installed - which look amazing. New split system air-conditioning should take the chill of those winter rehearsals. A fresh coat of paint for the stage area has sharpened up the place and this week Neville is touching up the gold trim in the mail hall. All in all, the hall will be buzzing when we return once COVID-19 is behind us.

11.01.2022 Some sad news. One of our life members and a past president - Marg Netley - has passed away. Marg is fondly remembered by many BADS old hands for her work as an actor, director and committee member.

03.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who got in contact re: the old curtains. It seems that before our blue curtains were installed in the mid-1970s, the hall had scarlet and cream curtains and drapes. Heather has kindly provided some old photos as examples. Bonus points to anyone who can identify the year, the play and the people in each photo!

02.01.2022 Opening night played out in front of a full house tonight and what a fabulous audience! If you were there - hit us up with your reviews!

01.01.2022 Some workshopping of songs. Love the beanie!
