25.01.2022 Our DTL comp this coming Saturday 03/10/2020 is 75 Target Champion of Champions (25 target DB,SB, PS) shot off 18 metres and 25 Target Handicap. We will be open from 9a.m. and start shooting at 10a.m. To comply with Covid rules we will be shooting in squads of five and shooting 5 targets per lane and then move. As per the lastest easing of restrictions all shooters from all regions are encouraged to attend. If you reside in a "hotspot" or are experiencing any Covid symptoms p...lease consider your decision to attend. We still have to adhere to our Registered Covid Plan at this stage and your acceptance and compliance is appreciated. Unfortunately our canteen will NOT be operating so please B.Y.O. food etc. The weather forecast looks good so we hope to see as many of our members and friends as possible. 25.01.2022 Skeet shooters don't forget our comp. on this Saturday 19/09/2020. As usual there will be DTL practice as well. All the Covid rules are in still in place, I'm sure you are all well aware of them by now, we appreciate your compliance with them. 24.01.2022 Good weather and good friends made for a good day's shooting. Thanks to all our visitors that travelled and help make the day, thanks also to our members, a few we haven't seen in a while. 100 targets Continental had a few shooters shaking their heads at time and an odd undecipherable comment passed, but there was also a smattering of red on the score board.... When all the shooting had finished the results are as follows Overall Vince Gatt AA 1st Nick Xenos 2nd George Dominello A 1st Bob Duncan 1st Steve Cowell, Tied for 1st and decided to split 1st and 2nd B 1st Mario Blasi 2nd Nick Curtis C 1st Paul Roberts 2nd John Bashford, decided after a shootoff Thanks to everyone that helped out during the day to keep it flowing. Thanks to the Duncans and the Donovans for the fresh cakes. Next month will be our Christmas Shoot, we are chasing sponsorship so we can increase the prize table. We are planning on providing lunch, flash target prizes and some other goodies, hope to see as many members and friends there as possible. Thanks again to all those that came along and made the day so enjoyable.

21.01.2022 This coming Saturday 21/11/2020 is our 100 target Skeet comp. starting at 10 a.m. There will be DTL practice on as well. This Sunday is the fourth Sunday of the month so we will be open for DTL and Skeet practice. A number of Berrima CTC members competed at Cecil Park's 3 day Skeet competition last weekend with some very notable results.... 50 Target HCP 3rd Tony Hickman 4th James Gorringe 50 Target Championship 1st A grade Tony Hickman Highguns B grade James Gorringe Junior Patrick Reid As listed in the Blue Book we will be Shooting Practice on Sunday 29/11/2020 as well Remember that you can pay your 2021 memberships as of now and this will carry over till 31/12/2021. All memberships MUST be paid by 31/12/2020 to remain financial and be able to continue to shoot after 31st December this year. Don't forget our Christmas Shoot will be held on 05/12/2020. 21.01.2022 Here's hoping everyone survived Christmas OK. We are open for DTL and Skeet practice tomorrow Sunday 27/12/2020 from 10 a.m. We will only be open whilst there are shooters there. Please remember that 2020 memberships lapse on 31/12/2020 therefore so does your insurance so please update your membership for 2021. The majority of members have already renewed.... Saturday 02/01/2021 will be our first DTL comp for the year. 25 target Handicap and 75 targets Double Barrel - all one event. This coming year we will be running a "Loyalty" event over our DTL shoots, 1 point for attending, 1 extra point for placing 2nd and 2 extra points for placing 1st in all grades. All points tallied for the year and at our Christmas shoot the winner who could be from any grade will be awarded a cash prize, a percentage from each DTL comp Noms will be allocated towards the prize so the more at the comps the bigger the prize. Please remember we still have to abide by the current covid restrictions and we thank everyone for doing so. 19.01.2022 Great news for our Skeet shooters, the new voice release system is installed and tested. So for our Skeet comps from now on will be run on voice release. Don’t forget we will be shooting Skeet Doubles as well. Thanks very much to Tony Hickman for organising and installing the new voice release.

19.01.2022 Don"t forget we are having a 100 target Skeet comp this Saturday 19/12/2020, lunch provided. Hope to see plenty of Skeet shooters come along and enjoy the day. Thanks goes out John Dall and Ian Storer for spending considerable time getting all the appropriate paperwork signed for our recent Range Approval with Firearms Registry. All existing ranges need reapproval every five years.... I know this is starting to get monotonous but we still have to abide by all Covid rules, and please be aware they are a constantly changing scenario. 07.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all our members & friends Berrima CTC committee

06.01.2022 DTL and Skeet practice is on tomorrow (25/11/2020) afternoon from 1.30 pm. Our Skeet comp last Saturday had 2 squads competing, after all the scores were tallied Tony Hickman came out on top shooting a very creditable 96/100 and James Gorringe and Peter Papps tying on 94/100 to split 2nd and 3rd. Tony very generously donated his winnings back to club. Skeet shooters stay tuned as there will be some changes to Skeet comps in the future, Skeet Doubles will be shot on a regular ...basis to hopefully encourage more shooters. If you haven't shot Doubles before don't be intimidated come along and have a go there will be coaching and guidance available. The Club's first attempt at 5 stand was shot after the Skeet comp with those that shot it saying it was enjoyable and looking forward to expanding 5 Stand within Berrima CTC. Quite possibly there will be competitions run in the new year. As Covid restrictions continue to be eased it is envisaged that we will be able to recommence Corporate Shoots and Come and Try shoots in the new year. These are a great way to introduce new people to our sport and they also help raise revenue for the Club. Our Christmas Shoot will be held on Saturday 05/12/2020, lunch will be provided. Hopefully as many members and friends as possible can come along and enjoy the day which has very generously been sponsored by Bronzewing/NSI/Laporte so there will be some great prizes on the day. If anyone is able to come along and help out around lunch time on the day it would be greatly appreciated. 05.01.2022 We had a couple of squads of Skeet shooters for our Club Championships today. The comp. was shot over 100 targets with following results. B grade. 1st Darren Parsons 92/100 B grade 2nd Patrick Reid 89/100... C grade 1st. John Michell 85/100 C grade 2nd Michael Simpson 76/100 Thanks to everyone that came along and enjoyed the day. We also had a good roll up for DTL practice. Sunday 25/10/2020 will be practice for DTL and Skeet starting at 10 am.

05.01.2022 Hi all, please don't forget our Working Bee this coming Saturday 10/10/2020. We are hoping to paint the Trap Houses, clean both the trap houses and Skeet houses, restock them with clays and have a general tidy up around the range. Anyone that can bring a whipper snipper along would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has any jobs on their mind that need doing make sure you suggest them and we will get them done as well. Bob Duncan, Chris Cunningham and Mick Simpson for all the whipper snipping.... To Mario Blasi and Nick Smith ( plus Charlie and Pinky) for filling all the Trap and Skeet houses with clays. To James Gorringe for more work on the frame around the toilets, they are now ready to put cladding on. To Noel Watchorn for getting a whole of little tidy up jobs done. To Peter Papps for mowing earlier in the week My apologies if I have forgotten anyone. All the work has certainly made the range look really good.
