Almost $7000 in personal weather meters for live n the ground weather to help predict fire paths and protect our volunteers. ... We have 19 Brigades in The Southern Highlands and ALL of them will receive a meter. Special mention and thanks to my girls too. Olivia, Madaleine, and Aleece who worked from 8am-7pm helping to collect the much needed funds to support RFS. 05.01.2022 busy day, catching a neighbours horse that escaped, girls helping stack neighbours firewood, then fencing and moving sheep from paddock to paddock. Sad news of my old school friend and nurse Kathy (RIP). Now we relax around a great fire with, family and marshmallows. Very cosy. Berrima Retreat is perfect for good times and still great when times are not so perfect. Our thoughts are also with the families of all who have served and those still serving our Nation. ...
