24.01.2022 This Friday is now part of The Peoples Long Weekend. School will be closed for the public holiday.

24.01.2022 On Tuesday, Peter from Fish In Schools visited to deliver our new Ornate Rainbowfish. This endangered species is now part of a breeding program at our school, which will see us look after the fish population for many years to come. The fish are local to South East Queensland and can still be found in streams and rivers throughout the Logan area. Prep AK did some fantastic writing following on from our visit. Have a look at their marvellous finger spaces, capital letters, full stops and letter-sound choices.

24.01.2022 With everyone missing out on their favourite EKKA foods this year, the P&C are bringing the Ekka Favourites to Berrinba East SS. A special meal deal is being offered on Thursday 13th August 2020. Order forms will come home via your children over the next two days. Orders are due by Monday 10th August. A copy of this order form is below if you have access to a printer. To order the EKKA meal deal, place the order form and payment details or cash in an envelope and ask your ch...ild to pop it in the red P&C box which will be located at the hall each morning. 23.01.2022 Woodwind, brass and percussion lessons are on Wednesday with Miss Barnes. Strings lessons are on Friday with Ms Olsen. All students must have access to their own instruments and materials to ensure they can participate safely in lessons.

18.01.2022 Do you know a little person born between 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018? If so, they and their family are eligible to attend Kindy LinQ at Berrinba East SS in 2020. Kindy LinQ is a facilitated early learning program for three year old children who attend with a parent/caregiver. At the moment, Kindy LinQ will occur on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9am to midday starting in Term 1. If you require more information or would like to register, please call our school office.

We were acknowledged for the work we do in partnership with our local Kindergartens to support Prep transition. #weareberrinba

03.01.2022 Our school has been announced as a finalist in the Queensland Outdoor Recreation Federation Nature Play QLD - Nature Play Education Award This award is in acknowledgement of the work we have done to embed Nature Play and Outdoor Learning in all aspects of our school. We will find out in October if we are the winner of this award. It is great to see our school being acknowledged for the wonderful opportunities we provide to students.
