20.01.2022 It's the last year of PAYG statements being issued by paper. Some employers have started for 2019 but PAYG statements can be accessed via MyGov or as tax agents we can access this information on the ATO portal.

20.01.2022 Chasing more work so let me know if you are prepared to give me a go...can visit you or you come to me whatever suits! Friendly efficient reasonably priced service.

19.01.2022 Welcome back to the new year - I'm offering fixed fee arrangements this year - pay by week, month or quarter. December quarter BAS's are due 28/2/2019. Contact me for estimates. Thanks to existing clients who have recommended me - new ones, please take the time to leave a review as it helps new clients deciding! Also note I have partner program with MYOB so the software is at a discounted rate to clients. It is possible for me to do the same with Xero if there is enough interest.....

18.01.2022 The start of a new financial year! Make sure you have recorded the odometer readings of your vehicles, collect your paperwork ready for the 2018 tax and start new files for the new financial year. Happy to complete tax work again or any other needs.....

18.01.2022 Fuel tax credit rates changed 1st August 2015 - from 12.76c to 13.06 for liquid fuels (diesel/petrol) for heavy vehicles on public roads, from 38.9c to 39.2c for liquid fuels (diesel/petrol) used off public roads. This means split of rates in the September 2015 quarter....

17.01.2022 It's nearly 2018 tax time.....do some tax planning before 30th June to see where you stand. Give me a call if you need help!

17.01.2022 Some changes/impacts on businesses from 12 March 2020 1. Eligible businesses that withhold tax on employee's wage will receive payments from March 2020 quarter BAS of minimum $20,000 (even if no withholding tax for that quarter) or 100% (up from 50%) of amount withheld up to $50,000. 2. Immediate asset write-off limits increased from $30,000 to $150,000 for 2020. 3. 2 stimulus packages - one from 31st March for those receiving age pension, carer's allowance, family tax benefi...t and commonwealth seniors card - one off $750 - second one from July 13th of also $750. 4. Newstart increased by $550 f/night for 6mth period, the application process is being streamlined including online applications, waiving the liquid asset test for eligibility. These are difficult times for small business and family - through all of this it is really important to be adaptable, creative and kind. Above are the main points likely to impact smaller businesses - please feel free to contact me by phone/facetime/skype/email.....I will be seeking to reach out to existing clients to check on their position.....and situation of course still changing quickly..
