24.01.2022 A few car loads of evacuees from Jervis Bay, arrived at the B&B late last night complete with various cats and dogs caravans etc. Fire conditions are terrible out there, and only marginally better here, but at least (hopefully) we have a highway to exit along, if need be.

09.01.2022 Some years ago, we hosted Charlotte Lrtn, a young French girl, at Berry B&B. We have always kept in touch as she travels, living and working all over the world. She is a good person, and this is shown in her post, as she asks her many friends to donate to the NSW RFS. You are always welcome back to Australia Charlotte. Thank you for thinking of us all!... Xxx Hello my friends, As this new decade starts, Australia is going through a terrifying disaster and I am trying to help with the resources I find. Celeste Barber, an amazing Australian comedian, has started a crowd funding for the NSW fire Services and I would like you to consider donating to them, or if you can't, just share with your friends. I have called Australia my home for 10 months of my life and have met incredible people out there. I have mainly spent my time between Jervis Bay and Berry in New South Wales, two areas that are massively threatened at the moment and it breaks my heart to know people I love dearly are going through such a terrifying time and this beautiful land is burning. Thanks to anyone who can help make a difference to this community. Our work here is done! Yes, that’s right, this amazing property is now on the market, ready for someone else to enjoy. !!!!... Although, in many ways, we will find it hard to leave this behind, we do so knowing that we have done a great job in creating such a relaxing and loved location. We have created a good mix of comfort, rustic, antique, and new, with a healthy amount of quirkiness. We have filled the property with love and creative features, which our guests have enjoyed. The recent addition of our award winning construction, Chevy’s Rest, has made us one of the most popular places to stay in the area. But now, we must move on to other adventures!!!
