Next Saturday 13th June, we are bringing our Berry Goodness to Samford Valley Markets, our first market of this year! There are special bargains for everyone who enjoys our chutney and relish (Apricot Ginger Chutney; Date Apple Ginger Chutney; Mango Chutney (with chilli); Capsicum Chilli Relish; Eggplant Pickle and Sweet Eggplant Chutney) all at a reduced price! There are also gifts for those ...who are special to us (Tomato Relish in our small jar; pack of baby jars with 2 flavours or pack of baby jars with 3 flavours) Such a small gift will delight any palate! Of course, we will have our Award Winning and Best Seller favourite Rosella Jam, followed closely by another Award Winner, Christmas Jam, getting in early for our Christmas in July theme. Our Rosella bushes have done well this season (more than we ever expected). At the moment we have picked 72kgs and there is still a little life left in some of the plants. The weather is getting a little too cool for our Rosellas now. Some of the bushes have gone but tomorrow is Louise’s next picking day. Louise is always busy in the kitchen, making different fl...avours, using up the fruit from the orchard/garden. January has been a time to restock our depleted cupboards, Louise has made 30 batches of jams, chutneys and relishes, so that all your favourites are now in stock. We have also been nurturing our 36 Rosella bushes for our most popular jam. We will be on holiday from 27th Jan to 12th Mar, you can still get all you...r favourite flavours at our stockists, The Ole Lollie Shop (Petrie Old Town, Redcliffe Parade, Aussie World and Mooloolaba), The Fruit and Deli Co Westfield North Lakes, and Sera's Artisan Pantry in the Handmade Expo Shop, Strathpine Centre (opposite Target). After a slow start, our Rosella harvest has borne fruit and we are hopeful that Rosella Jam will be available for the rest of the year. We have also picked some lovely small pineapples! 10.01.2022 Spring is here and our garden is blossoming with flowers hoping to produce fruit for us in summer! Our bees are enjoying this time of year collecting pollen for their hive. The mulberries are already fruiting and we are busy picking daily to keep up with the production of berries. At the moment we have 8 kgs and on Tuesday, the first batch of Mulberry Jam will be made for this season, for all those Mulberry Jam lovers! The garden, that hosts our favourite Rosella bushes, is b...eing prepared. So, the ground will be nourished in time for planting those lovely plants late October early November. We are hoping the coming rain (which we need) will not dampen our spirits as we prepare for one of our favourite markets, Samford Valley Markets, this Saturday 12th September, from 7am until 12noon. Oh yes, please come and say hello as this day is also special to Cliffit is his birthday!
