10.01.2022 A note from Hannah xx 8 years ago, around the dinner table, I told my family that I'd like to start up my own salon. There wasn't any thought process or preparation behind this, just a gut feeling and a spontaneous decision. I had nothing except for passion, a strong work ethic and an overwhelming amount of support and encouragement from my family. ... Within 24 hours I had permission from my Mum & Dad and plans drawn up to take over their garage. In true Hannah style, I didn't muck around and in under 2 weeks the garage space had been converted and Berry Lane Hair was born. For those who don't know, Berry is my nickname affectionately given to me by my grandma and thats where the name stemmed from. My Family all had their important roles to play in building up my courage to go ahead with my spontaneous plan. My Dad (pictured) was proud as punch after helping my brother in law build the salon for me, knowing I would work hard and make something of it. Mum so encouraging and even suggesting she could make some little "Berry Biscuits" which are now so popular and in much higher demand and volumes haha. And my sisters for being the encouraging cheer-squad by my side. . An anniversary is a time to celebrate and reflect on all the highs and lows and acknowledge those who have helped make it all happen. The past 8 years have been filled with so many incredible memories with the Berry Team and the most amazing clients. We are together through it all, the good and bad and everything in between. Thank you to the Berry Team (past and present) for playing your part in making it the success that it is. And to our clients for the ongoing love and support. We truly couldn't do it without you. We have evolved together and built it up to what it is today as a group effort. You have trusted my spontaneous decisions and changes and my desire to be forever evolving. Bring on the next 8 years!
